Jess Glynne is said to be planning a secret trip to Australia to cheer on her girlfriend, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Alex Scott.
The 36-year-old singer and the former Lioness, 41, have been inseparable since confirming their romance in 2023, and it seems Jess isn’t about to let a few thousand miles keep them apart.
After an emotional goodbye at Heathrow earlier this week, insiders have revealed that Jess intends to fly out to join Alex for the big reunion moment on the show’s iconic jungle bridge.

A source told The Sun: “It’s always emotional when the celebs finally see their loved ones after weeks apart. Jess is all set to fly out and meet her. They’ll be dying to see each other by that point. Alex will be over the moon to finally see Jess again after spending such a long time away from her.”
Alex landed in Brisbane on Tuesday (November 11) and admitted to feeling overwhelmed even before entering the jungle.
“I’m so nervous,” she told the Daily Mail, adding that the separation is already hitting hard. “This is the longest we’ve been apart since we got together. I’m going to miss her Birmingham show, and I’m gutted I’m not going to be there. But I know that she’s going to be my biggest cheerleader.”
Holding back tears, she added: “Hopefully I’ll see her on that bridge, but we’ll see.”
Jess is currently on tour and is due to perform in Birmingham on November 21. However, her schedule opens up after that, making a last-minute flight to Australia entirely possible.
She’s joining a star-studded cast
Alex Scott and Jess Glynne may have kept their romance under wraps at first, but the pair have slowly let fans into their world. After months of speculation, they went public at the end of 2023 – and have been inseparable ever since.
Now, Alex is gearing up to face the jungle head-on in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The BBC Sports presenter and Football Focus host is reportedly keen to show viewers a different side to herself – and she’s more than ready for a challenge.
She’ll be joining a star-studded line-up that includes Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley and former EastEnders favourite Shona McGarty.
And if all goes to plan, Alex won’t just be walking that famous jungle bridge as a finalist – she might also be greeted by one very familiar face. Jess is said to be planning a trip to surprise her at the finish line.
