'I thought at one point I was going to get smacked'I’m A Celebrity star Ashley Roberts admitted she is still scarred from the show’s live final on Friday (April 24).
Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas was crowned this year’s winner following a public vote. However, despite being named the King of the Jungle, he found himself caught up in explosive drama with his other campmates.

I’m A Celebrity live final drama
Following an explosive row with Jimmy Bullard in the jungle, Jimmy accused the show of not showing the full edit, declaring he faced abusive behaviour.
Ant McPartlin denied that Adam was abusive. However, Jimmy hit back at the incident, stating it was a “liberty”.
David Haye backed him up and pressed Adam to explain why he had been shouting obscenities after declaring he had “nothing but love” for Jimmy.
Sinitta was the first to stand up and walk away. She later told the audience she believed the behaviour had indeed been “aggressive and abusive.”
Gemma Collins, who was on Adam’s side, was also unimpressed and followed after her.

“It was unhinged! I felt like I was on a Jerry Springer show. It was just unbelievable! People were walking off and there were flying everywhere, there was yelling, emotions and crying, it was wild! I don’t feel like I’m fully recovered if I’m honest with you,” she said this morning (April 27), insisting that Jimmy and David “came in with a mission”.
After Amanda pointed out that Ashley and her female campers kept a “dignified silence”, Ashley said she was “trying to dodge big man hands flying in my face”. She added: “I thought at one point I was going to get smacked.”
Amanda directly slammed Jimmy and David, calling them “horrific and just absolutely awful”, noting that not all men are.

‘My heart hurt’
Ashley described the final as “absolute chaos”. She insisted it was “a shame” after she didn’t think Adam was able to “enjoy” his win because of “all of the drama that went down”.
She continued: “He had a really tough time in there and it was unfortunate that they had a moment to discuss things as adults and maybe clear the air a little bit. But instead, it was yelling and unfortunate behaviour. I was disappointed and my heart hurt a bit inside because there’s so much going on in the world and for us to then treat each other like that. We all went through this really tough experience, and we all could have sat and discussed as adults. It’s a TV show and it’s supposed to be entertaining. I was just a little bit disappointed by their behaviour.”
Amanda felt a sense of “anger” from Ashley, who admitted she was “angry” at how the men were speaking to one another. She also said it made her feel “really sad”.
Ashley shut down claims that David tried to make amends on the night. She insisted Adam didn’t want to win based on sympathy.
The Pussycat Dolls hitmaker believed their drama stemmed from “lads banter that went a little bit too far”.
