• Claire is a freelance journalist, writer and editor with over 20 years of experience in both digital and print, writing about everything from TV, soaps and entertainment to beauty, fashion and even the royal family
• Over the years Claire has interviewed everyone from the late June Brown to lovely Michelle Keegan, swapped cooking tips with baking legend Mary Berry backstage at the National Television Awards, and danced the night away with soap stars at countless awards bashes
• As huge soap fan, Claire has pulled pints in the Rovers Return, sung karaoke in the Emmerdale village hall, taken a stroll around Albert Square, and visited Summer Bay Surf Club in sunny Australia. There isn’t a lot she doesn’t know about TV and soaps, which can be very handy in a pub quiz

Experience

After starting her career at All About Soap where she stayed for 13 years, Claire spent 8 years at whatsontv.co.uk and whattowatch.com as UK Managing Editor where she wrote about all things TV and film. She is now a freelance journalist having written for titles including TV Times, What’s On TV, TV & Satellite Week, Digital Spy, Inside Soap, Entertainment Daily, and Woman & Home.

Education

Claire has a BA joint honours degree in History and Media With Cultural Studies from UWE in Bristol.
