BBC bosses accused of scripting The Traitors and having ‘agenda’ for Rachel

Traitors viewers have accused the BBC of “scripting” the show to ensure Rachel Duffy stays in.

Fans have spoken out after Rachel again avoided being banished despite being front and centre of all the show’s recent drama.

Rachel has been involved in several of the biggest scenes this series as her identity of a Traitor is slowly rumbled.

But despite both Harriet Tyce and Fiona Hughes calling her out in the loudest ways possible, no one is voting for her.

Fans are baffled by this, especially after Rachel’s name wasn’t written down once in last night’s Round Table.

Some viewers have now claimed the BBC has “scripted” the show.

One fan has even suggested Beeb bosses have an “agenda” to ensure she follows in the footsteps of series 2 winner and show advocate, Traitor Harry Clark.

Traitors fans accuse BBC of ‘scripting show’

Fans have been discussing their theory on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One viewer remarked after Thursday night’s show: “Not a single vote for Rachel after all this hysteria. Is it that they are dumb or is it production?”

Another replied: “I do think it is scripted as too many things are obvious yet not being said.” A third chimed in: “Surely it’s production. She didn’t even get a mention.”

And a fourth added: “Prod agenda is for her to be the new Harry.”

However, not everyone is so convinced.

“I think production. But she’s also very popular with the group and she does a good job at talking like a Faithful,” one person pondered.

Someone else said: “I think Fiona and Harriet going for her in a deranged manner was production pulling strings. But I genuinely think they’re all clues.”

But one theory-quasher wrote: “Don’t disrespect production like that. This lot are just bottom set!”

Another agreed: “Dumbest bunch of Faithfuls EVER. Roxy is also just an absolute whopper. Does my head in.”

Who will Rachel and Stephen murder next?

Rachel has been front and centre of the castle drama since last week.

The mum-of-three was first hauled into the spotlight by Traitor Fiona Hughes. Fiona, who was the Secret Traitor, tried to throw her under the bus by telling the entire group she thinks she is a Traitor.

But incredibly, Rachel managed to turn it all around and Fiona was banished.

In an apparent twist of the same fate, the almost identical thing happened with crime writer Harriet.

Harriet couldn’t have made it clearer to everyone that she thought Rachel was a Traitor. Yet, again, Harriet ended up being banished for it.

Rachel was last seen plotting who to murder next with her fellow Traitor, Stephen Libby.

The pair headed up to the Turret following the latest Round Table, which saw Faithful Sam Little, banished from the game.

Rachel and Stephen have narrowed their list down to either Jessie Stride, Matty Hyndman or Faraaz Noor.
