Could Brenda be bluffing?The Masked Singer has returned for Series 7, and many viewers appear confident that Brenda Edwards could be Toastie. However, according to the star herself, she thinks it’s someone else!
Ever since Toastie made their debut on the hit ITV show, many are adamant that they are a professional singer.
During their first performance, they showed off their vocals to Aerosmith’s Walk This Way. As they returned to the stage on Saturday night (January 10), Toastie wowed everyone with their rendition of Whitney Houston’s Run To You.

Many incredible singers have been guessed for Toastie, including Sonique, Mica Paris, and Lisa Stansfield. However, an even more popular choice is Brenda Edwards.
“I thought Toastie sounded like Brenda Edwards before Mo said it,” one user wrote on X.
“Toastie is 100 percent Brenda Edwards,” another person shared.
“I’m even more convinced this week that Toastie is Brenda Edwards after that performance!” a third remarked.
“Gotta be Brenda Edwards for Toastie,” a fourth said.
During last weekend’s show, judge Mo Gilligan even guessed Brenda for Toastie following their performance.
The Loose Women star is no stranger to hitting the stage. After rising to fame on The X Factor, she has since carved out a successful career in musical theatre. At the moment, she is starring in the West End for Paddington.

Over on Instagram, a fan of the show posted on their Story that Brenda was Toastie.
In response, Brenda firmly denied that she was the character. Instead, she replied by saying who she thinks Toastie really is.
“Toastie is Mica Paris,” she wrote.
The response was shared on Reddit, where someone joked: “I have a feeling Mica Paris would guess Toastie was Brenda Edwards.”
