'The Alesha show!' Britain's Got Talent viewers seriously divided over Mis-Teeq comeback
Fans said Sabrina and Su-Elise 'deserve so much better'
Alesha Dixon reunited with her Mis-Teeq bandmates on Britain’s Got Talent last night, but their comeback was met with two key complaints.
Mis-Teeq reunited to perform a medley of their hits on last night’s BGT live final (May 30). Alesha was joined by Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington for their first performance in 22 years.
It came after the ladies announced a one-night special show that’s taking place at Wembley Arena later this year.
And, while many were delighted to have Alesha and the band back together, others spotted a couple of issues…

Mis-Teeq reunite for Britain’s Got Talent performance
Alesha left the judging bench before the winner was announced to join her ladies for an epic performance of some of their biggest hits.
They performed songs including Scandalous and One Night Stand.
Alesha Dixon’s daughters – Azura and Anaya – were seen sitting in Alesha’s seat on the panel, proudly dancing along with their mum.
However, not everyone was as keen about the band’s reunion as the girls…

‘Only looks like Alesha is singing live’
Some BGT fans claimed that Su-Elise and Sabrina were miming during some parts of the performance.
“Dunno the other lasses’ names but they looks like they’re miming. Only looks like Alesha is singing live to me,” one armchair expert said.
“Alesha was the only one who sang live. The other two mimed the [bleep] out of it,” claimed a second. A third agreed and said: “Alesha is the only one singing live.”
Another commented: “Imagine apart from Alesha rapping live the rest is mimed! Should have stayed separated!” “Why are Mis-Teeq miming apart from Alesha?” asked another.
Britain’s Got Talent fans slam shock Mis-Teeq change
Others complained that the BGT judge ‘made it all about herself’. They pointed out that Alesha wasn’t actually the main singer when Mis-Teeq launched, but she appeared to be last night.
“Alesha is the rapper in the group, surprised to see her doing Sabrina’s part. But it was on a show that Alesha is known for. Should have kept the original format as it was,” said one.
“Sabrina should’ve been singing those main parts as she’s the actual singer. I thought Alesha was the rapper in the group,” said a second. “I was really looking forward to this, but they seemed to make Alesha center stage and Sabrina and Su-Elise as backing singers. They deserve so much better,” another commented.
“Alesha just made that all about her,” complained another. “Felt more like the Alesha show than Mis-Teeq,” said another. “Alesha making it all about her as usual,” whinged another.

‘Mis-Teeq smashed that!’
However, Alesha and the girls did also have a lot of love from Mis-Teeq fans who were delighted to see them make a comeback.
“All I have to say is Alesha Dixon you are out of this world,” said one. “Mis-Teeq smashed that! Alesha was phenomenal,” said a second.
“Absolutely overjoyed, welcome back!” said another fan. “My queens are back!” said another. “I’m so so happy. I listen to Mis-Teeq still daily and I can’t believe they’re back,” another added.
Su-Elise also commented on the performance, saying: “Still pinching myself! What an incredible night. Thank you @bgt and thank you to everyone showing us so much love. 20+ years later, was such a special moment.”
