Celebrity MasterChef 2025: What time the BBC show is on tonight amid another schedule shake up and new end time
You don't want to be caught out with this time change to the BBC showCelebrity MasterChef 2025 back tonight for the first quarter final of the series – but what time is it on?
The show, which made its comeback on Monday evening, has also marked Grace Dent’s debut as a MasterChef judge alongside John Torode.
On Tuesday night, Paralympian Gaz Choudhry became the first of this week’s five budding cooks to leave the competition. It came as the group were challenged with cooking restaurant-quality Asian food.

Tonight, fans will get to see this year’s first batch of quarter finalists put through their paces. But who has what it takes to make it through to the semis? Here’s what time tonight’s show starts
Celebrity MasterChef 2025: Episode 2 recap
This week’s heats have featured the first five celebrities from this year’s 15-strong line-up in the kitchen. They were Gaz, Blue singer Antony Costa, RuPaul Drag Race’s Ginger Johnson, soap star Katie McGlynn and Love Island’s Uma Jammeh.
Last night, the competitors were introduced to top chef, Karan Gokani. Individually, they had to show off their cooking skills by whipping up restaurant-quality dishes from his own recipes. They then had to make their own Asian food.
Unfortunately for Gaz, both his dishes fell flat. In his first challenge, his potatoes were deemed too bland and his naan bread “dry”. He then made a Pakistani slow-cooked beef stew using a vegan plant steak.
Grace wasn’t overly impressed with it and neither was John, meaning Gaz became the first celebrity to be sent home from the competition.

Celebrity MasterChef: Quarter finalists and guest judges
Gaz’s exit means Ginger, Uma, Antony and Katie are through to the first quarter final of the series.
The next challenge on the budding chefs’ plates is one that needs great communication. They will work in pairs to deliver identical looking and tasting dishes. But only one will have the recipe and they won’t be able to see what each other are doing. An old favourite – and we love it!
They will return to working on their own for the second challenge. Each contestant must cook a two-course meal for three guests judges. This week they will be McFly star Danny Jones and former Celebrity MasterChef champions Angellica Bell and Lisa Faulkner.
Who will impress and whose dishes will be a recipe for disaster? Danny, Angellica and Lisa won’t be holding back on their thoughts, so they have to pull out all the stops.
At the end of the show, one more contestant will go home, leaving three through to the semi-finals.

What time is Celebrity MasterChef on tonight?
Celebrity MasterChef fans were left disappointed last night, as it wasn’t on. The good news is, it back on BBC One tonight. Squeal!
But take note; in a schedule change, the start time has moved back to 9pm. This is the same time as Monday’s launch show, but different to Tuesday. They tricked us on Tuesday with an early airing at 8pm.
Unfortunately, Celebrity MasterChef being on at 9pm does mean a big clash for the I’m A Celebrity fans among us. But this is why catch-up was created, right?!
