Celebrity MasterChef is now just one show away from this year’s winner being crowned – but who left the show tonight?

The latest episode started with just four contestants following Jamie Lomas’ departure on Monday night.

And by the middle of tonight’s show, we were down to three!

Judges John Torode and Grace Dent have just one day left with the contestants before the Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2025 is declared. But who will it be?

Here’s who went home on Celebrity MasterChef tonight, who is left in the competition and when the final episode is.

Celebrity MasterChef:

Dawn O’Porter, Alun Wyn Jones, Alfie Boe and Ginger Johnson kicked off tonight’s episode by making a dish that was dedicated to someone or something very special.

The contestants were told they had to “cook from the heart”. John and Grace said they really wanted to “feel the emotion” while eating the dishes.

There was a huge amount resting on this challenge, as one celebrity would be sent home straight after it. In the middle of the show!

Dawn decided to make a kebab in dedication to her film star husband Chris O’Dowd. The pair had eaten a kebab together on the night she became his girlfriend, which is why she chose it.

Alfie made a two-layer cake in dedication to his late father, who died 28 years ago. One half was his dad’s favourite, Parkin cake, and the other was Belgian Le Misérable cake. This was a nod to Alfie’s career as a Tenor.

Ginger made a Christmas dinner – but not turkey. She chose a festive salmon with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. The drag artist – real nmae Donald Marshall  dedicated it to his dad, who he says has supported him throughout his career.

Finally, Alun Wyn made a Welsh ‘surf and turf’ with lamb, leeks, lava bread and deep-fried cockles. He also dedicated it to his dad, along with his wife and his millions of rugby fans.

Who went home in Celebrity MasterChef tonight?

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a straight-forward challenge for everyone.

Ginger received a massive thumbs up from Grace and John, especially for her salmon, roast potatoes and sprouts. “It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s definitely Christmas,” John said.

Grace and John also had fun tucking into Dawn’s kebab. The author and TV presenter served it with a side of Champagne concealed in a plastic bag – just like she and Chris had drunk together on their date night.

John described it as “fantastic”, while Grace said Dawn’s kebab was “fabulous”.

Alun, however, ran into trouble with his lamb. It had to be flash-fried at the last minute as it was too red inside. Grace said: “I know and you know that you had problems with the lamb. But this dauphinoise is just delicious.”

John also said he would like to see Alun’s “lamb fat rendered more”.

One of Alfie’s cakes toppled over as he tried to plate it up. His Les Miserablé part of the cake could have done for longer in the oven, too. Grace told him: “The Les Mis part of it is undercooked. Because of that, it tastes a bit of eggs.”

John and Grace decided to send Alfie home. They said they “loved ” his Parkin cake but his Les Mis cake was deemed undercooked and “dry”, due to a lack of buttercream.

As Alfie left the show, he said: “This has been quite precious. These moments in life that come about are really special. I’m happy to be going home as a Celebrity MasterChef finalist.”

Celebrity MasterChef: The final three

Alfie’s departure from Celebrity MasterChef left Dawn, Alun and Ginger as the 2025 series’ final three.  They were told they had earned the right to cook at the Chef’s Table. John told them: “Hold on tight, you’re in for a ride.”

The trio headed to The Boat, a three-rosette restaurant in Lichfield, Staffordshire, led by chef patron Liam Dillon. Dawn, Alun and Ginger each had to cook a dish from Liam’s current menu for six award-winning chefs.

Their critics were Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Sat Bains, Paul Ainsworth, Chet Sharma, David Taylor and Chantelle Nicholson. Between them, they have five Michelin stars.

Dawn was tasked with a roast quail starter, while Alun had to cook lamb loin for the main. Ginger had to make a coffee parfait dessert. All the dishes were complex and featured difficult sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.

Dawn’s quail was described by the chefs as “perfect”, however one of them found a tiny bit of bone in the dish. Alun’s lamb was said to be “delicious” and “pretty impressive”.

Ginger also received rave reviews for her dessert. One chef said: “You wouldn’t know this had been done by a celebrity.”

No one left the competition at the end of Chef’s Table. John said: “All the lessons are over. It’s back to the MasterChef kitchen because there’s three cooks and only one that can be our winner.”
