Celebrity Sabotage is the brand-new ITV primetime series hitting our screens soon, and already, fans are reacting.

ITV announced the upcoming show last year. However, it is set to launch very soon. Here’s what we know about the new series, including its start date and all the stars involved.

When does Celebrity Sabotage start, and how many episodes will there be?

Celebrity Sabotage will debut on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday, March 21.

The show will run for six episodes every weekend with many familiar faces hoping to entertain the nation.

How does it work?

The new series will feature well-known personalities carrying out covert acts of sabotage against unsuspecting members of the public.

From a hidden headquarters, the Celebrity Saboteurs will monitor every move, secretly completing missions designed to derail the contestants’ progress.

The more challenges they pull off without being detected, the bigger the prize pot grows. However, if a Celebrity Saboteur is exposed, the contestant will be forced to make a tough decision.

Each episode will start with the contestants arriving for what they think is a new show on ITV, fronted by a famous host.

The supposed formats vary widely — from culinary competitions and relationship experiments to corporate-style challenges and even whodunit-style mystery games.

“Celebrity Sabotage is a unique combination of hidden camera, reality, and gameshow, delivering big laughs with a fantastic celebrity cast. We are delighted to bring this exciting new format to the ITV audience,” Director of Entertainment and Daytime Katie Rawcliffe said.

Who are the Celebrity Saboteurs and celebrity guests?

The show will feature four Celebrity Saboteurs — Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson, GK Barry and Judi Love.

While trying to achieve their mission, they will be joined by many guests, including Olivia Attwood, Jill Scott, Fay Riply, Jo Brand, Harry Redknapp and Guz Khan throughout the series.

Meanwhile, the fake hosts of the shows include Clare Balding, Matt and Emma Willis, Sara Davies, Monica Galetti, Jason Fox, and Rylan Clark.

What are the prizes?

The cash prize will vary per episode, putting the pressure on the Celebrity Saboteurs.

Each time they pull off a disruption without being detected, more money is added to a hidden prize fund.

At the end of the episode, that total is unveiled and divided evenly among the contestants — catching them completely off guard.

First look at Emma and Matt Willis ‘bust up’

For the episode involving Emma and Matt Willis, they are given the mission to stage an argument in a hot tub with two contestants, Jason and Jason, and ruin their date night by forcing them to leave before them. Their task is worth £5,000.

While speaking in their ears, Sam Thompson tells Matt to splash Emma in the face. Judi Love asked him to do it again, leaving Emma upset.

As she began to get emotional, Emma said: “You’re making me feel really stupid.”

While watching at the headquarters, the Celebrity Taboteurs and guest Olivia Attwood were left cringing at the hilarious scene.

However, in another clip, Jill Scott has to sabotage the pizza on the pizza server counter. To achieve this, she has to disguise herself as multiple black bin bags.
