The Celebrity Traitors fans believe they’ve figured out who Alan Carr will murder in tonight’s show (Thursday, October 9).

Comedian Alan, 49, was chosen as one of the Traitors last night by Claudia Winkleman, alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.

Alan Carr on The Celebrity Traitors

Last night (Wednesday, October 8) saw the much-anticipated launch of The Celebrity Traitors.

Amongst the star-studded cast were the likes of Alan, Jonathan, Tom Daley, Celia Imrie, Kate Garraway and Sir Stephen Fry.

Yesterday’s episode also saw Claudia pick her first batch of celebrity traitors.

The 53-year-old chose Jonathan, Cat and Alan during a tension-filled first sit-down around the roundtable.

Meeting in the turret later that night, the Traitors learned that their first murder was going to be in plain sight. They soon learned that to murder someone, they were going to have to find a black lily in the castle, touch its poisonous pollen and put it on the face of the celebrity they wanted to kill.

The task was left to Alan to complete – but viewers won’t find out who he’s murdering until tonight’s show! All we know is Alan said it would be easier to touch the face of a woman, so will it be one of the female celebs who is killed tonight?

Fans predict Clare Balding will be murdered

Some fans took to social media after the show to share their predictions on which celeb will be murdered first. Unfortunately for Clare Balding, many think it will be her.

Clare, 54, made a major blunder during the first task, which may have raised suspicions about her. During the task, the celebs had to drag a big Trojan horse through enormous gates. To get through the gates, they had to answer some puzzles correctly.

To open the first gate, the celebrities had to answer the question, ‘How many characters died in Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet combined?’. The answer would then give them the code to open the gate.

While Stephen Fry and Nick Mohammed attempted to work out the answer, Clare began inputting random numbers into the code box. However, without realising it, the star had locked in the answer, which turned out to be wrong.

“Oh [bleep], I locked it in and I didn’t mean to!” she said, panicked. “I thought, oh, we can guess lots of numbers, so while they’re working that out, I’ll just stick a number in. Think like a combination lock, and you can start trying lots of numbers. Anyway, that was it because the lever didn’t go back up again.”

Clare to be first celeb out?

Clare’s blunder led to one of the celebs having to sacrifice a shield they picked up during their very first mission to get through the gate.

This roused suspicion from some celebs, notably Tom Daley. The Olympian suspected Clare may be a Traitor trying to strip as many celebrities as possible of their shields.

Now, viewers believe that Alan will murder Clare first. It comes after the Wimbledon presenter put a target on her back last night.

“I think Alan will murder Clare Balding after what she did during the challenge,” one viewer tweeted.

“Clare’s getting murdered first,” another said. “Clare’s already put a target on her back by accidentally sabotaging the task, although I commend Charlotte for giving up her shield. I hope Clare doesn’t go out early, but I want to see her as a Traitor,” a third wrote.

“I have a bad feeling it might be Clare [who Alan murders] – considering he’s had her name in his mouth from the start,” another said.

Meanwhile, others think Clare will be voted off first. “WAS so excited to have Clare Balding on telly since I only really see her every leap year but there’s no way she isn’t going to be voted out first since she messed up and locked in the completely wrong answer,” one viewer tweeted.

It’s not looking good for Clare either way!
