Celebrity Traitors fans declare final is 'ruined' after decision to scrap last night's murder
Viewers have argued it's paved the way for the Faithfuls to win…Celebrity Traitors viewers slammed the decision to not let Alan Carr and Cat Burns commit murder at the end of last night’s penultimate episode (October 30), with fears the final will now ‘lack tension’.
There are just five players left in the game now, following the murder of Celia Imrie and the banishment of Kate Garraway last night. However, it was the decision to give the Traitors a night off from their murdering duties that irked not only Alan, but those watching at home, too.
As a result, some viewers have blasted the producers’ decision, saying that it’s left the game wide open for the remaining Faithfuls to win, thus removing all potential tension from the final episode…

The Celebrity Traitors heads into endgame – but where’s the tension?
Last night saw the celebs whittled down to five. Kate Garraway became the latest star to be banished after a tense round table with David Olusoga.
This means that heading into next week’s final, there will be three Faithful – Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David, as well as two Traitors – Alan and Cat.
However, at the end of the episode, host Claudia Winkleman revealed a game-changing twist. There would be no murder before the final. The remaining Faithful were obviously thrilled. However, some viewers – not to mention Alan, who’s got used to his nightly killing ritual – were seriously unhappy.

Fans slam ‘game-ruining’ decision
Taking to social media, fans complained that the decision to ban the Traitors from murdering last night has “ruined” the show. They also claimed it has “set up” Joe Marler to win. Especially now that he suspects Cat and Alan to be the Traitors…
“Is next week going to even be interesting? Because how could the Traitors possibly win this now? There’s literally zero tension,” one fan complained.
“The no murder has completely ruined the whole show. It’s like the seer thing last year. Producers try to create twists that don’t need to be there and ruin the ending,” another moaned.
“Honestly, watching this, it’s like they don’t want the Traitors to have a possible chance of winning. Two murders in plain sight, giving them clues of the Traitors… It’s unfair,” another said.

But the complaints didn’t end there. “What a cop out. No murder tonight. Very disappointing,” another viewer fumed. “No murder…. nooo I need Cat and Alan to have a chance!!!” another wrote.
“NO MURDER! That’s it. Game over. The Traitors are done for. They really needed Joe murdered tonight,” another added.
“Great way to spoil the last episode,” another disgruntled fan complained.
So who’ll win the show? Our money’s on Joe Marler and his buddy Nick Mohammed – or could Alan and Cat pull something treacherous out of the bag at the last minute? Sadly, we have an entire week to wait to find out!
