Celebrity Traitors star James Blunt leaves viewers 'crying' with laughter following 'Freddie shower moment'
James stole the show!Celebrity Traitors viewers were left laughing after singer James Blunt was caught washing himself in the shower for the show.
The hit BBC programme, which launched last week for its second series, returned with a star-studded line-up.
In addition to Blunt, many other famous faces have signed up for the game, including Richard E Grant, Maya Jama, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Miranda Hart, to name a few.
Celebrity Traitors star James Blunt distracts viewers with shower scene
As the show returned for episode three last night (Oct 8), viewers picked up from last Friday’s cliffhanger at the round table.
Within minutes of the show, Richard was banished, setting a record as the first Traitor banished at the first round table.
As a result, the remaining Traitors — Maya and James Acaster — decided to recruit mathematician Hannah Fry instead of murdering someone.
Later in the episode, another round table took place, where Faithful actress Myha’la was sent packing.
When Maya, James and Hannah returned to the turret, the three Traitors discussed who they wanted to potentially murder next.
They debated James, Sebastian Croft and Bella Ramsey. While viewers were left on another cliffhanger, they were distracted when the show cut to James washing himself in the shower.
Wearing a sheer plastic cap, he appeared covered in soap and scrubbing himself with a large wooden bath brush in a humorous way.
Fans quickly compared the clip to Traitors star Freddie Fraser, who had a similar scene during Series 3.

“I am crying,” one user wrote on X.
“Having his own Freddie moment,” another person shared.
“Omg I couldn’t believe the wooden way James was showering. I nearly choked on the slice of cake I was trying to eat,” a third remarked.
“This shot of James Blunt showering has sent me into psychosis,” a fourth joked.
“Not ready for Captain @JamesBlunt’s shower scene. Tom Daley and Freddie’s shower scenes were tough to follow but James cracks me up,” a fifth said.
