The Traitors may not even be over yet, but fans are already desperate to know what stars will be appearing on Celebrity Traitors series two.

A few months ago, the celebrity version of the iconic BBC show took the UK by storm. And with a fantastic first season line-up, including the incredible winner, Alan Carr, fans have high expectations for the second stint.

With filming not long away, some celebrities will most likely be already aware that they’re heading to the castle. So, who can we expect to see? While nobody has been confirmed, there are a lot of people who have been in the running.

Steve Pemberton could join Celebrity Traitors

One of the newest celebrities rumoured to join the Celebrity Traitors line-up is actor and comedian Steve Pemberton.

It’s believed that the 58-year-old BAFTA winner has been in talks with producers for the new series of Celebrity Traitors.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Signing Steve would fill the slot for a celebrity who is obsessed with mechanics behind the programme. It was a role filled last year by Jonathan Ross, who was a long-time devotee and become one of the programme’s ‘big dogs’.”

The source explained that he is a “sought-after candidate”.

Alison Hammond is reportedly in talks for Celebrity Traitors

One star who could be absolutely iconic on Celebrity Traitors is the one and only Alison Hammond. The This Morning star first rose to fame on Big Brother, so she isn’t a stranger to a reality show.

The Sun reported that Alison is in final talks to join the cast of Celebrity Traitors.

A source said: “Alison is on the BBC’s hit list for Celebrity Traitors, and she is keen.”

Since the show began, Alison has been very vocal about her love for it, and has often admitted she would love to be on it. Although, she has said she would love to be a Faithful, but we think she would be just as iconic as Alan Carr as a Traitor.

Danny Dyer could be on Celebrity Traitors

Another huge name in the running is former EastEnders star Danny Dyer.

There have been numerous reports that suggest he is reportedly signing up for the new series, especially after he declined the last one.

Danny has actually spoken about whether or not he would ever do Celebrity Traitors. And after being initially wary, it appears he would definitely be up for it.

Speaking to his daughter, Dani Dyer, on their podcast, Live and Let Dyers, the star confirmed he is now up for taking part on the show.

He said: “They did sniff round me about it. It was originally a no from me because I hadn’t seen it. But I’m into it now. If you are going to do it, if you’re famous, it needs to be an indulgence project. You have to love the game.”

It’s believed that Daisy was actually supposed to be a part of the first series, alongside her brother, Charlie. But both of them had to pull out due to family commitments.

Now, though, according to The Sun, Daisy is once again in the running for Celebrity Traitors. And the star would definitely be iconic to watch with her comedic abilities.

Amanda Holden wants to go on Celebrity Traitors

TV star, and best friend of series one winner Alan Carr, Amanda Holden has been rumoured to take part.

According to The Sun, Amanda is in the BBC producers’ interests, if her schedule will allow it – as the show films at the same time as Britain’s Got Talent’s live shows.

However, fans weren’t too happy when her name was mentioned in relation to the show…

Tom Hiddleston would be a huge signing for Celebrity Traitors

One huge signing could be Hollywood star Tom Hiddleston. While producers haven’t said anything about getting him on the show, Tom himself has put his name in the running.

Speaking recently on a BBC Radio 2 appearance, Tom admitted: “The celebrity one would be amazing. I think the whole show, the format is just the most ingenious thing, isn’t it? It’s completely compulsive. Maybe the best television I have ever seen.

“If you are a Traitor it’s more of an acting exercise, right? It’s a game. You have to keep deceiving and cloaking. Basically lying to people. It would be interesting though. I don’t know. I think being a Faithful would be more of a curiosity scratcher somehow.”

So, with Tom revealing he wants to do the show, perhaps the BBC will snatch him up immediately.
