Coronation Street casts former Hollyoaks star in upcoming Todd and Theo scenes
Theo continues to mess with Todd's head
Coronation Street has cast another person in the current Theo and Todd storyline, and this time its former Hollyoaks star Andrew Hayden-Smith.
The actor will take on the part of Pete – the person who Theo decides to cheat on Todd with.
Tensions are high when Todd returns home to find the pair both together.
Coronation Street casts Hollyoaks star Andrew Hayden-Smith as new Theo lover
Andrew Hayden-Smith has been cast as Pete, with his first scenes on the cobbles due to air next week.
The star is best known for appearing in Hollyoaks as 2016-2017 villain Gavin Armstrong.
Fans might remember that Gavin was the police officer who stalked both Leela Lomax and Cindy Savage.
He eventually died in December 2017, with Andrew then going on to play the character Mark in an episode of Doctor Who: Classic Doctors New Monsters – a podcast which he did voiceover work on.
Andrew’s Coronation Street appearance will mark his return back to the small screen after eight years away.
Coronation Street spoilers reveal Todd’s anger over Theo betrayal with Pete
Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed that Theo Silverton invites Pete to stay over for the night, playing away from Todd.
With Todd returning home and apologising to Theo for staying over at Billy’s for the night, he promises Theo that nothing happened between them.
Todd Grimshaw is shocked to then find Pete in the flat, with Theo then turning the blame back on Todd.
Feeling the need to justify his actions, Todd opens up to his partner about his recent health scare. But, Theo doesn’t seem very empathetic.
He tells him that he didn’t want to worry him. He’d been at the hospital for a bowel cancer test. He knew Theo already had a lot on his plate so Billy had been supporting him.
With Theo still accusing him of sneaking around behind his back, Todd then has enough of Theo’s behaviour and tells him to leave the flat and pack his bags.
But, when Theo tries to make things right, will Todd allow him back into his life?
