Coronation Street fans call for love match between Glenda and Ryan

Glenda and Ryan might seem like an unexpected love match but Coronation Street fans are calling for it to happen.
The pair have both been single for quite a while and great on great with each other.
Could they soon find love with each other or are they better off as friends?
The single lives of Glenda and Ryan
A couple of years ago, Glenda Shuttleworth has a brief fling with Michael Bailey. The pair agreed to remain friends in the end, and ever since then Glenda’s remained single.
She’s currently busy working behind the bar at the Rovers, putting her effort into hosting fun themed nights for the Weatherfield punters. She’s also getting used to Eva and the Driscolls being in charge after the family recently moved into the pub.
Ryan Connor is also a single man, after his previous relationships with Alya, Daisy and Crystal didn’t work out.
He’s now living with Carla, Lisa and Betsy over at Number 6 and has just returned from visiting Michelle in Ireland for a family funeral.
With the house getting rather full now that Becky’s coming and going, could Ryan move out and find love with Glenda?
Coronation Street viewers hope for Ryan and Glenda love match
With both Glenda and Ryan single, one Coronation Street fan reckons they should get together and could be a great match for each other.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: “I’m going to throw this out there but what about a Ryan and Glenda love connection? What’s the age difference between them? Who cares, they’re both adults.”
Another person commented: “Ryan is 33… and she is 46, they are both adults. Once you reach 30+ age gap doesn’t matter. They would be a good fit.”
A third person said: “They need to put Glenda with Ryan.”
Glenda and Ryan’s energies could certainly complement each other if they were to give each other a chance. But, could more fans soon find themselves shipping them as an item?
