Coronation Street ITVX episode sees Will Driscoll make major breakthrough as he stands up to Megan in court
Will finally stood up to Megan
Coronation Street aired an early ITVX episode today (Thursday, July 2), which saw Will Driscoll finally stand up to his groomer Megan Walsh.
He decided that he wanted to testify in court, if he was allowed to after his last attempt to speak his truth.
Fortunately, Will’s request was approved and he finally got his chance to stand up to his groomer.

Today in Weatherfield, Will Driscoll told his family that he’d had a chat with Tim and now wanted to make things right by testifying in court.
At court, Will then prepared to testify and tell the truth while Ben thanked Tim for turning up to support his son.
As he took to the stand, Will faced the judge and jury and he explained that he’d lied before. Megan had said that she’d lose her job and didn’t deserve to go to prison, blackmailing him into lying about their relationship.
But, he was now ready to tell his truth. Megan did groom him and needed to pay for what she’d done. She couldn’t get to him with her lies anymore, and needed to pay.
What Megan had done to him was wrong.
Megan Walsh made a fresh threat to Will
After the court session was over, the Driscolls praised Will for being so brave as they headed home. Susie was pleased to see her big brother, being reassured when he said that he was now okay.
With Susie being sent out of the room, Eva, Ben and Maggie then admitted that the decision now rested with the jury and it was a waiting game.
Later on though, Megan ignored every instruction to stay clear of Will. She met up with him and started laying hands on him, telling him that he was nothing to her. She only ever felt sorry for him. They were done.
She then told him that she wouldn’t be going to prison and that he hadn’t won. But, as the jury decides on a verdict, what will Megan ultimately receive? Guilty or not guilty? And, what will this mean for Will?
