Coronation Street character Betsy Swain is set to face a worrying health battle as she falls victim to a stroke.
In scenes that are set to air next week, spoilers have revealed that Betsy’s rushed to hospital after being found unconscious on the floor.
It has now been reported that Betsy’s hospital dash will be due to a teenage stroke.

In spoilers for next week, Betsy’s kitchen disaster leads to a sweet moment with Dylan as she asks him for a few cooking tips after a breakfast attempt that didn’t exactly go to plan.
Dylan steps in as the chef of the day and shows her how to whip up a bolognese, with the pair agreeing they’re determined to make their long-distance relationship work.
But their happy moment soon turns into a nightmare when an ambulance is called to No.6. Ryan finds Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor, leaving everyone terrified.
At the hospital, Betsy is taken away for an MRI scan while a worried Lisa struggles to hold back tears as she waits for answers.
When Dylan arrives, panic quickly sets in as he rushes out to tell Lisa and Carla that Betsy appears to be having a fit, while doctors fight to help her.
What’s On TV has now reported that Betsy’s symptoms will be down to a teenage stroke. The publication reported that Betsy will wake up and find it difficult to speak, with Lisa then being quick to blame someone for Betsy’s condition.
Dylan arrested after Betsy hospital dash in Coronation Street spoilers
In further spoilers, Lisa reports Dylan to the police. The teenager is soon arrested on suspicion of what’s happened to Betsy.
The drama ramps up when Lisa lashes out at Dylan in the café before heading straight to the police station to report a crime.
Soon, Dylan is devastated after Lauren tells him Betsy is seriously ill and doesn’t want to see him. The shocks keep coming when Sean discovers Dylan has been arrested. Meanwhile, Betsy is horrified to learn Lisa went to the police, while Dylan remains convinced Brody is the real culprit.
But, what caused Betsy’s stroke? And, will her recovery journey get in the way of her plans to go to fashion college?
