Coronation Street ITVX episode confirms Megan verdict in tense court scenes
Megan's been found guilty
Coronation Street aired a big ITVX early release episode today (Friday, July 3), as Megan Walsh’s verdict was finally given in court.
After a long wait, the Driscolls could breathe a sigh of relief when the jury decided upon a guilty verdict.
With this, Megan’s sentence was also then decided by the judge.

Megan Walsh found guilty in Coronation Street
The Driscolls nervously prepared to return to court as Megan Walsh’s trial concluded. Will hoped he’d done enough to get Megan out of his life for good.
In court, Will and his family sat down as Megan’s mum Janine also waited to find out what the jury had decided.
The jury then revealed that they’d decided to a guilty verdict. They’d found Megan guilty of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and also of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity in a position of trust.
Megan was horrified as her sentence when then revealed, being escorted to her cell.

Megan Walsh sentenced
Megan Walsh was sentenced to five years in prison, although Maggie feared that she’d only serve half of this time.
The abuser being locked away behind bars was a victory for the Driscolls though as they watched the criminal beg to be let free.
On the way to her cell, Megan stared Will in the face. She accused him of being a ‘liar,’ before making a desperate plea for her mum to save her.
Janine could only watch on with tears in her eyes as Megan begged for her to ‘do something’ to save her from being targeted in prison.
Back at the pub, Ollie then comforted his brother and told him to start looking toward his future now that Megan was out of his life.
