1. Megan’s verdict is given
The waiting is almost over as Ben gets a phone call confirming that the jury has reached its verdict.
Eva is by his side to offer some quiet support before they head into court, where everyone waits anxiously for the decision.
With the jury ready to reveal its verdict, Megan’s future hangs in the balance. But has she finally been brought to justice, or is there one last shock in store?
2. Abi’s landlord secret is exposed
Abi has had enough of the damp in her flat and leaves yet another message for her mystery landlord, venting to Leanne that he never answers his phone and she doesn’t even know who he is.
Over at Speed Daal, a massive bouquet arrives from Idris. He soon follows it up with an apology of his own, hoping to smooth things over. But will flowers and a few kind words do the trick?
Then comes an awkward twist. Abi walks into Speed Daal while on the phone and hears the ringtone she’s been chasing for weeks. Idris’ phone starts ringing, and she suddenly realises he’s the landlord who’s been ignoring all of her messages.
Later that day, Abi settles Alfie into bed as he struggles with a cough. But a closer look behind his bed reveals black mould creeping across the wall, leaving Abi horrified as the possible cause of his illness is laid bare.
3. Sam makes peace with Nick
After taking some time to think, Sam apologises to Nick for overreacting.
He admits Nick was only trying to do the right thing and reassures him that he now knows he’s exactly where he belongs.
4. Hope and Ruby are up to something
Meanwhile, over at No.9, Cassie spots Hope and Ruby huddled over an email on Hope’s phone looking far too pleased with themselves.
When she tries to find out what’s going on, the pair stay tight-lipped, teasing that it’s all part of a surprise they’re planning for Tyrone. Will he love it as much as they hope?
