Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 guest cast includes Cold Feet star, EastEnders legend and Line of Duty villain
Can you guess the killer?Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 features a huge name, plus a 1970s legend and a soap favourite within its guest cast.
The new series opened with a bang as Selwyn returned to Saint Marie to come back to his old job as The Commissioner. Plus, DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) finally met his long lost brother Solomon Clarke.
Furthermore, Mervin faced a taxing case when a man fell to his death from the roof of Government House. Episode 1 featured a great guest cast including Gavin & Stacey star Steffan Rhodri and Miranda’s Sarah Hadland.
Now, fans are eagerly awaiting episode two of Death in Paradise series 15. Mervin heads to an exclusive couples retreat when a therapist is found dead after her evening swim. Mervin discovers bruises on the victim’s neck. She was murdered!
Suspicion soon shifts to her clients – two couples who have paid a small fortune to mend their fractured marriages. However, all four were having dinner at the time. So, how could one of them of slipped away to murder the therapist? And why?

Hermione Norris as Margot Hartnell
Hermione plays London interior designer Margot Hartnell. Margot has come to Saint Marie to have therapy sessions with her husband, Alasdair. They’re hoping therapist Keira can save their marriage.
Margot is constantly snapping at her husband. We discover their marriage started to fall about when their 17-year-old daughter died in a hit-and-run.
Margot complains that her husband doesn’t have time for her. She’s furious when Mervin starts questioning her and her husband about Keira’s murder.
Margot has an incident in her past she has no memory of. Could that be the key to the case? Might she be the Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 murderer?
What else has Hermione Norris been in?
Hermione shot to fame in the comedy drama Cold Feet. She played Karen in the series which ran from 1997 to 2003. Hermione revived the character when the series returned between 2016 and 2020.
The much-loved actress starred alongside Robson Green in the crime drama Wire in the Blood. Plus, she enjoyed a leading role in BBC spy series Spooks, playing MI6 officer Ros Myers. Furthermore, she appeared alongside Stephen Fry in ITV’s Kingdom.
More recently she popped up in two episodes of Silent Witness. Her other credits include Doc Martin, Luther and In The Club.
Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 cast: Ace Bhatti as Alasdair Hartnell
Alasdair is a barrister. He’s frustrated that everything he says seems to upset his wife. Alasdair is constantly saying sorry to her, but this just seems to annoy her even more. In a bonding sessions arranged by therapist Keira, Margot ends up tripping up. She blames Alasdair.
In their therapy sessions, Alasdair admits failing to find time for Margot due to work. But the real source of their marriage trouble is the death of their daughter. Alasdair finds it difficult to talk about what happened.
Margot wants to express her feelings to Alasdair. But Alasdair gets emotional when he admits to Mervin in Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 that he just can’t talk about his daughter’s death. But does any of this relate to the case?
What else has Ace Bhatti been in?
Ace made a big impact in two series of Line of Duty as Police and Crime Commissioner Rohan Sindwhani. He later said the response to his part was “fantastic” and someone had even jokingly offered him £20 to reveal who Line of Duty mastermind “H” was!
Ace also had roles in a string of soaps including Casualty, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Holby City. His biggest soap part was as Yusef Khan in EastEnders between 2010-11.
Plus, he’s been in just about every big drama series going over the years including Midsomer Murders, Silent Witness, New Tricks, Spooks and Shetland.
Scarlett Alice Johnson as Keira Mayhew
Keira is the Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 murder victim. Keira is a therapist and shortly before her death she’s told a big lie. Mervin suspects the big lie she heard is the key to the case.
The team also discover that Keira fled the UK in a hurry. She left her fiancé behind and never kept in contact with her friends. Mervin wonders what prompted her to leave in such a rush.
Mervin has to discover if someone killed Keira because of her job or whether there was another motive. He also has to work out how anyone had the opportunity to kill her.
What else has Scarlett Alice Johnson been in?
Scarlett’s first role was as Vicki Fowler in EastEnders. She is one of four stars to date to have played Vicki, the daughter of Michelle Fowler and Den Watts. Scarlett portrayed the character from 2003 to 2024.
Vicki turned up in Walford after running away from her mum. Scarlett left the soap after two years saying it was “time to move on”.
She also starred as pregnant teenager Laura in the BBC sitcom Pramface. More recently Scarlett has turned up in Call the Midwife, The Good Karma Hospital and Casualty.
Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 cast: Sean Delaney as Luke Warber
Luke is married to Stacey. On the surface, Luke appears a doting husband. So, why are they at a retreat to help people in struggling marriages?
Well, Luke explains to Keira that he has intimacy issues. Luke even struggles to hold hands with his wife. He clearly wants to be affectionate towards her, but he just can’t.
It turns out Luke is wracked with guilt because he had a fling with his wife’s sister! He has never told Stacey. And he goes straight to the top of Mervin’s suspect list when he discovers Luke confided his secret to Keira.
What else has Sean Delaney been in?
Sean’s break-out role was as MI6 computer whiz Kenny Stowton in the BBC series Killing Eve. Kenny helped Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) as she investigated assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer).
His biggest other role was as Teddy in the acclaimed BBC Two series Life After Life. Sean actually made his TV debut back in 2016 in an episode of Midsomer Murders.
Sean has also had many theatre parts including in the Sam Mendes directed play The Ferryman.
Lizzie Davidson as Stacey Warber
Stacey is baffled by her husband’s intimacy issues. She clearly wants to help him through his troubles.
But Stacey becomes frustrated when Luke finds it difficult to hold her hand. Stacey, though, really wants to make progress.
Stacey doesn’t have any obvious motive for killing Keira in Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2. But might there be a connection in her past to the victim? Is she really as calm as she seems?
What else has Lizzie Davidson been in?
Lizzie is best known for starring in the BBC comedy Such Brave Girls, written by her real-life sister Kat Sadler. The show follows sisters Billie (Davidson) and Josie Sadler (Sadler) as they struggle with dating and money. So far the comedy has had two series.
Such Brave Girls has also become popular in America. So, the pair were invited onto big US talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers to chat about the series.
Lizzie also displayed her comedy skills in two episodes of Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping.
Death in Paradise series 15 episode 2 cast: Gary Wilmot as Anton Busette
Anton is a smooth operator. He’s very snappily dressed. The Commissioner finds Anton waiting for him outside The Yacht Club.
The Commissioner has always loved his club and he’s looking forward to enjoying lobster night there. But his night is about to be ruined.
Anton and The Commissioner seem to have a history. They certainly know each other. Anton is a journalist and he tells The Commissioner he’s about to run a story about him. Selwyn looks at a draft of the story and the headline reads: “Commissioner Chaos”. He later complains to Catherine that Anton is just a gossip.
What else has Gary Wilmot been in?
Gary first achieved fame by reaching the final of talent show New Faces in 1978 as part of a comedy double act. This resulted in him turning up as himself on loads of different shows over the years including Blankety Blank, Bullseye and, more recently, Would I Lie to You?.
Gary also had many TV acting credits including Midsomer Murders and Be Happy!.
Plus, he’s a regular on London’s West End stage appearing in many musicals including Me and My Girl and Wicked.
