Death in Paradise series 15 – one of our favourites so far – continues this week with episode 6 and another great guest cast of famous faces.
This week, Mervin goes in search of his brother Solomon on Antigua, but stumbles into a crime scene… In a remote cabin, a local businessman has been shot. But Solomon and his associate Cheech both swear the other is responsible. And they’re not letting Mervin go until each one has convinced him of their account.
As DS Thomas and Commissioner Patterson realise Mervin could be in danger, they follow in pursuit. Until irritating Sterling Fox returns and tries to throw his weight around…

Julian Rhind-Tutt stars as Cheech McCarthy
Middlesex-born Julian Rhind-Tutt, 58, guest stars in the cast of Death in Paradise series 15 as Cheech McCarthy. Cheech is the ‘business’ associate of Mervin’s brother Solomon on Antigua. And might or might not be a killer.
Viewers might know Julian best for his early comedic roles in sitcoms such as Simon Pegg’s Hippies, The Wilsons, and The Imp. Between Dr. Macartney in the seminal comedy series Green Wing, opposite a fantastic cast including Sally Bretton, Olivia Colman, Tamsin Greig, Mark Heap, and Stephen Mangan.
More serious roles followed, including Angus McCain in the sublime Abi Morgan drama The Hour between 2011 and 2012. A few years later, in 2015, Julian starred as Tommy Barrett in convict drama Banished, before he went on to play Marquess of Blayne in the 2018 drama Harlots.
Other notable roles include Danny Glassman in Reckless, Inspector Monty Pippin in Keen Eddie, Monks/Edward in Oliver Twist, and ACC Boss in Suranne Jones drama A Touch of Cloth.
More recently, Julian has portrayed Phelan in the Roman Army saga Britannia, a role he played between 2017 to 2021. He’s also popped up as Christian in Man vs. Bee, Mr Jerebohm in The Larkins, and Patrick Fitzpatrick in Tom Jones. He played Johnnie Stewart in disturbing Jimmy Savile drama The Reckoning.
Julian has been in multiple films, too, including The Madness of King George, Tomorrow Never Dies, Les Misérables, Notting Hill, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and Rush. In 2016, Julian portrayed Fergus in Bridget Jones’ Baby.
Death in Paradise episode 6 guest cast: Antonia Bernath plays Pearl Lewis
London-born Antonia Bernath, 40, is a singer and actress. The star, who plays Pearl Lewis in this week’s Death in Paradise, started her career in 2003 popping up in small roles in Monarch of the Glen, Heartbeat, and the CBS series Elvis where she played Priscilla Presley.
In 2006 and 2007, Antonia starred as Nikki Brown in Holby City. She went on to play Charlotte Arc in the 2009 series Trinity, Kate Dornay in Lykke, and Susan Borman in The Astronaut Wives Club. In 2015, Antonia portrayed Laura Edmunds in Downton Abbey and, a year later, Sally Compeyson in Dickensian.
More recently, the actress has played Jane Rossington in the 2023 series Nolly, and Rose-Marie Hunt in The War Between the Land and the Sea.
She’s been in multiple films including Murder at the Embassy, Powder Room, Stalled, Cuckoo, and St. Trinian’s where she starred as Chloe.
Death in Paradise episode 6 guest cast: Ashley Campbell portrays Lester Lewis
Ashley Campbell, who is of English and Grenadian descent, guest stars as Lester Lewis in Death in Paradise this week.
He’s known for his career across film, TV and theatre. Ashley first made his name in the West End production of Fame the Musical. In 2000, at just 19 years old, he won the role and stayed with the production for 16 months. He’s also appeared in productions including The Bomb-itty of Errors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Rat Pack, and The Color Purple.
On TV, he’s probably best known for playing Ollie in the children’s series Mysti, about a sassy fairy who magics her own unique blend of entertainment. In 2009, he starred as Wayne Connor in Hollyoaks Later.
Between 2021 and 2026, Ashley has had the recurring role of DC Wiley in Coronation Street.
Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge returns as Sterling Fox
Harrow-born actor Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge, 31, returns as Sterling Fox in the cast of Death in Paradise series 15. We first met him in series 14 when he arrived as Selwyn’s ‘replacement’ and proved himself to be everything Selwyn isn’t. Brash, arrogant, insensitive, and incompetent, BBC viewers collectively united to hate him.
So why is he back this week? Well, without revealing too much, Selwyn is forced to to turn to Sterling Fox when DI Mervin gets himself in trouble.
Trieve is probably best known for portraying Josh Hudson in Holby City, a role he played between 2020 and 2022 when the series was axed. The character was known for his relationship with consultant Ange Godard (Dawn Steele), with whom he had twins.
Trieve cut his teeth in comedy, and appeared on Tracey Ullman’s Show. He’s also known for playing Jeremiah in Enterprice, and Matty in This Way Up. More recently, he starred as Michael in the chess drama Rematch.
