Do You Know Your Place viewers left divided over Vernon Kay's new show: 'I'm bored!'
Fans weren't too excited by itDo You Know Your Place, hosted by Vernon Kay, hit our TV screens last night (February 23). But it seems the show didn’t leave fans too impressed.
The new game-show will air for four weeks on BBC Two. But if the reaction from the first episode is anything to go by, viewers are hoping for a huge change to keep them interested.
Alongside Vernon, the show is co-hosted by former Traitors star Paul Gorton, alongside a bunch of celebrity guests.

What is Do You Know Your Place?
Vernon hosts his part of the show from a studio, with the celebrity guests. While, Paul is travelling the across the UK acting as a tour guide. But his comments are either fact or fiction – and working it out is the key to winning the show.
Each day, the three celebrity guests will battle it out as Paul appears in different locations. The guests include Nitin Ganatra, the Reverend Kate Bottley, Gladiator ‘Apollo’ Alex Gray, Anneka Rice, Susan Calman, Owain Wyn Evans and Max Fosh.
Back in the studio, Vernon proceeds to give the celebs a number of tasks associated with that day’s location.
The way to win? Get the most points during the episode and they will be rewarded with a souvenir from that location. And whoever wins the whole week will get a ‘I know my place’ sweatshirt.

However, not long into the first episode, viewers were already left wondering if the new show would even be a hit.

Many took to social media to voice their concerns, admitting that they have switched off from watching.
One said: “Yeah. Sorry but Do You Know Your Place was unfathomably boring.”
Another added: “This is quite boring…”
“Oh dear. I love Vernon but not enough to suffer through this any longer. I am switching over,” a third penned.
“Can’t get on board with this. It seems very strange” one wrote, while another added: “I lasted five minutes. Not good.”
However, one fan thought the show had potential. They commented: “Not the best first episode, but I think it could hopefully grow better. And I do love Vernon.”
Do You Know Your Place? airs weeknights on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
