EastEnders tonight (Monday, July 6),  aired tense scenes as Bea Pollard had a tense showdown with Honey Mitchell, knocking her unconscious.

With Bea staging her own murder, Honey did her best to help prove Billy’s innocence.

But things backfired on her when she ended up being knocked unconscious and bundled into the back of a car by Bea.

Honey’s plan to trap Bea in EastEnders

Tonight in Walford, the residents of Walford gathered as police cordoned off the scene of their ‘murder’ investigation.

Of course, Honey was certain that Bea had staged the whole thing and needed a way to prove that Billy didn’t kill her.

She then teamed up with Nicola and Phil, sharing her plan to trap Bea. She wanted to lure her in with all of the things Bea loved – her attention and social media being at the top of the list.

Honey then staged a vigil, making out that she really missed her best friend. And, just as she predicted, Bea turned up to watch her ‘best friend’ Honey grieve.

But, Honey was one step ahead and saw Bea lurking with her hood up. She then tried to give Bea what she wanted, lying that she was ready to leave Billy for good.

Bea attacked Honey in EastEnders – but, is she dead?

Honey explained that she was willing to leave Billy and move in with her bestie Bea just as she wanted, but Billy didn’t deserve to go to prison. Janet and Will needed him.

But, as Bea put a hand on Honey’s arm, Honey flinched. And, Bea realised that she’d been played. Realising that Honey was recording their whole conversation as evidence that she was still alive, Bea tried to tackle her for her phone.

Poor Honey was shoved to the ground in the process, hitting her head off a chair and falling unconscious. Bea then bundled Honey into the back of her car and drove in filled with rage.

But, is Honey dead? Well, not yet. Spoilers for the next episode of EastEnders have confirmed that Honey does wake up after the attack.

She wakes in a cottage that Bea has taken her to, locked up there and held hostage. Bea then demands that they sort out the situation.

Meanwhile, Linda finds Honey’s phone in a bush all smashed up. She then gathers a search party to track down Honey. But, while Honey might be alive for now, will Bea end up finishing her off before she can be found?
