EastEnders early BBC iPlayer release airs dark twist for Amy and Craig as fans ‘disgusted’
Craig made his moveEastEnders fans have been left “disgusted” by the latest Craig and Amy twist in the iPlayer early release, as soap confirms a major fan theory.
For quite a few weeks, fans have been concerned that Craig has appeared “creepy” around Amy. And it wasn’t long before they were predicting a grooming storyline.
Craig has crossed so many professional boundaries anyway, as he was investigating the attack on Joel. But things got even more sinister when he appeared to be flirting with the teen. And tonight’s iPlayer release has just taken an even darker turn.
Craig and Amy have been growing terrifyingly close
Despite Amy only being 17-years-old, Craig has been determined to get closer to her. As he investigated Joel’s attack, we discovered he was moved to Walford after a complaint had been made against him.
Then, just recently, Craig was informed he was being taken off the investigation as another complaint had been made. He was suspended for gross misconduct. However, while all of this was happening, Craig had been meeting with Amy “off-record”, assuring the teen that she can trust him.
Shockingly, Amy then decided to reveal to him that she was the one who attacked Joel, which left Craig with a huge decision to make. Instead of turning her in, he promised to be the shoulder she needs.
Earlier this week, Craig told Amy she looked “good” in social media pictures that had been posted. And offered to take her for a drink so they could talk.
Tonight (August 26) they headed for that drink – and things took a dark turn.

Craig told Amy to make sure she dresses older, so that nobody suspects she is 17. And so, when they met up, Amy was dolled up.
As the pair chatted and shared numerous drinks, Amy asked him for a gin – and he made sure to get doubles instead.
Then they headed off to a more private area. And it was there Craig made a move, kissing Amy.
While fans clearly saw the twist coming, they were still shocked by how creepy the scenes actually were. And many took to social media to share their views.
One penned: “Craig seriously has no morals whatsoever. Physically grooming Amy in broad daylight and continues to take advantage of her in the wake of her confession.”
Another added: “I feel physically sick. Craig is a monster. Poor Amy.”
“This Amy and Craig storyline on EastEnders is so grim. It’s creepy and worrying” another fan penned.
A horrified fan wrote: “Watching Craig groom Amy is so disgusting. I hope she sees through him soon enough.”
