EastEnders affair scenes between Max and Priya have recently got fans believing that Ravi is the new year gunman.
Recently in Walford, Max has been sneaking behind Cindy’s back to secretly sleep with Priya Nandra-Hart.
But, could Ravi return to get revenge after finding out about Priya’s affair?

Ravi devastated Priya after leaving the mental health unit. This was because he went off again without her having any idea where he was.
Upset, she then turned her attention to Max. Yes, the guy she’d slept with recently as a one off. Well, it wasn’t a one off after all, as Mr Branning couldn’t resist temptation.
So much so that even on the night of his and Cindy Beale’s engagement party, Max was busy getting it on with Priya in The Vic loos.
With a full blown affair now having started, the pair have agreed to keep things strictly down to business. No emotions, no deep chats, just sex.
But, could this actually backfire of them as they keep seeing each other more and more regularly?
EastEnders fan theory predicts Ravi is the New Year gunman
In the EastEnders flashforward for New Year 2027, Max was seen lying in bed with a pregnant woman. Also in the flashforward, a gunman could be seen – although their identity remains a secret.
A new fan theory has now predicted that Ravi will return to expose Max and Priya’s affair. And, he’ll get revenge by shooting Max. And, as for the baby twist? A pregnant Priya will tell Ravi Gulati that the baby is his but he’ll find out that it’s actually Max’s.
Taking to Reddit, a fan shared their thoughts on the gunman topic and theorised: “I think it’s Ravi he finds out that Max and Priya have been at it maybe.”
Another person commented: “If Ravi comes back to the Square and most likely hasn’t fully recovered from his mental health issues and finds out Max’s been with Priya? Oh man that would be a very entertaining segment.”
A third person expanded: “I bet he’s gonna come back fully recovered and get back with Priya who dumps Max. Then she finds out she’s pregnant, lets Ravi think it’s his baby, but tells Max it’s his so she can have financial security and whatever else she wants. Ravi will probably see a text on her phone from Max saying something about our baby. This will break Ravi who will relapse cos he’s gonna think she’s cheating on him with Max and that Max is the dad.
“Priya is frightened of him so goes to Max, who still thinks the baby is his. Then believing Max has stolen his life, Ravi kidnaps Lauren and Oscar. Ravi is the gunman but after he ruins his life and loses everything, it’s gonna come out he did all this for nothing cos the baby is his. But it will be too late by then, he will already probably be in prison!”
