As Gray asks Ian to get revenge on Chelsea, spoilers see Jordan raise huge red flags
Gray wants Ian's help
EastEnders scenes tonight (Thursday, July 30), saw Gray Atkins vow to protect Ian Beale in prison if he agreed to help him fight Chelsea.
With Ian needing all the friends he can get in prison, Gray’s offer of forming an alliance started to look tempting.
And, spoilers for next week see that this spells danger for Chelsea and Jordan.
Gray made Ian an offer in EastEnders
With Ian struggling to settle into the prison life, Kathy reminded Peter that they mustn’t mention Chelsea’s quest to help Ian with an appeal.
Kathy didn’t want to get Ian’s hopes up. She wanted him to believe that Chelsea was just going to focus on Jordan for the time being.
Meanwhile, Sheila spoke to Chelsea and told her that she was happy to help her with the appeal on the condition that she could see Jordan more often – and that he finally knew who she was to him.
Chelsea agreed and sat Jordan down to re-introduce Sheila to him as his great-grandma.
In the prison, Gray tried to make a deal with Ian. He offered to be his friend and to look out for him in prison. In return though, he wanted Ian to help him out.
Ian could get to Chelsea and help him get revenge on her for what she did to Jordan – and for putting Ian in prison…
EastEnders spoilers see Jordan spark Chelsea suspicions
In EastEnders spoilers for next week, Gray’s plan to bring down Chelsea starts to raise alarm bells.
Chelsea might think she’s got everything under control, but Sheila is quietly playing her own game. After Chelsea lets her spend some one-on-one time with Jordan, Sheila wastes no time putting him to the test.
Taking Jordan out, she gets him to promise that he won’t spill their little secret, but a close call leaves things feeling far from straightforward. Once they’re back home, Sheila gets ready to move the next stage of her plan into action.
Later, she tells Gray that their scheme appears to be going exactly as planned. However, back in Walford, Chelsea begins to sense that something isn’t quite right when Jordan says something that raises alarm bells.
And when a knock at the door leaves Chelsea even more uneasy, Sheila knows she needs to get Gray involved.
