Emmerdale fans predict shocking death for Billy after spotting huge clues in ‘amazing’ trailer for Joe and Dawn’s wedding
Billy and Dawn recently shared a kissEmmerdale fans are looking forward to the wedding of Joe and Dawn, but many of them fear that it will result in the death of Billy Fletcher.
It’s been a dramatic few weeks for Dawn and Joe’s relationship, as she began to question her feelings for her ex-husband, Billy Fletcher. With Billy currently in hospital after being attacked, and Joe getting the blame so far, it’s gearing up to be quite intense scenes.
But now, with not long to go until her wedding day, a brand-new trailer has teased what’s to come. And it looks like it will be quite shocking.
Emmerdale released brand-new wedding trailer for Joe and Dawn
Late Monday night (August 3), Emmerdale released a trailer, which teased quite dark scenes for Joe and Dawn’s wedding day.
In the clip, Dawn was dressed in white, looking in a mirror. Then behind her, Joe and Billy appeared, as she looked at both of them. Things started to ramp up as they kept vanishing, and in the end, the mirror cracked and both men were gone. Instead, all that was left was Dawn, dressed in black, staring at the broken mirror.
While there have been rumours that Olivia Bromley is exiting her role as Dawn Fletcher, many fans believe she isn’t the one who will actually die.
According to Digital Spy, producer, Laura Shaw promised that the week will bring many exciting episodes, and will ultimately bring some “tragedy” to the village.
She said: “The run-up to Dawn and Joe’s wedding will be far from straightforward but the week of the wedding is even more dramatic!
“The day will end in tragedy with the consequences having ramifications that will impact the villagers’ lives for years to come.”
Fans predict death for Billy
But exactly what this tragedy is remains to be seen. However, fans have been quick to create theories and speculate. The main takeaway is that many believe it’s too “obvious” to be Dawn’s death. Instead, fans believe Billy will die, and Dawn will leave the village with their kids.
Taking to social media, one fan penned: “I honestly think Billy dies. She’s staring at him in the cover photo for the trailer. Maybe that’s a clue?”
Another penned on Reddit: “I actually think it’s going to be Billy who dies, and Joe is responsible for it so Dawn leaves with the kids. Think it would be too obvious to kill Dawn, and we all know they wouldn’t kill off Joe Tate. This recent attack on Billy is to lure us into believing he will survive, but I think he will die.”
A third agreed: “So, I think Billy’s dead then after this trailer.”
Some other fans worried that it meant the bride herself will end up dying. And this could end in another Billy vs Joe feud. But one thing everyone agreed on, was how amazing the trailer looked.
“This trailer looks incredible. It’s giving real dark and gothic vibes. I can’t wait to see it” one fan penned.
Another added: “This is so insane, it looks so gothic. Gothicdale, I am so excited.”
While tragedy is on the cards, fans will have to tune in to see exactly what happens – and who survives.
