Things are never quiet in Emmerdale, and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. With upcoming spoilers indicating the rest of the summer will be pretty eventful – thanks to Joe and Dawn’s wedding, and the return of Sadie King!
But right now, the focus is on the Dingles, as they prepare to say goodbye to one of their own. Over the last few weeks the Dingle clan have been dealing with the fact they will lose Monty one day soon. But none of them were ready for that day to arrive quite as quickly as it did.
So, read on for some Emmerdale spoilers for Wednesday, August 5.
1. Cain braces himself to say goodbye
The person who has been struggling with Monty’s condition the most has been Cain. Which makes sense, as he has been thinking about his own mortality and cancer journey.
But when the moment comes, Cain knows he has to put Monty’s needs first. And so, he takes him to the vets alone, not wanting the boys to see it and get upset.
2. Isaac has a suggestion
However, it isn’t long before Belle appears at the vets with Kyle and Isaac, who didn’t want their dad to be alone.
The three Dingles share an incredibly emotional moment after Monty’s death. And Isaac suggests to his dad that Monty should be treated like a Dingle – Cain realises his son is right, and promises to give him the right send-off.
3. Charity makes a decision
After an incredibly difficult and emotional few weeks, Charity realises that she needs to be brave.
And so, she makes a decision. But what is it about?
