For weeks, April has been drawn deeper into Ray’s dangerous web. What started as a one-off has turned into something far darker – Ray now has her running drugs to pay off a so-called ‘debt’, one he cruelly engineered by arranging for one of his heavies to mug her and steal the package she was delivering.
Even with Dylan desperately trying to pull her away from Ray’s grip, the manipulative villain has tightened his hold, piling on emotional blackmail to keep her in line.

With the police on the scene and social services closing in, April realises the walls are closing in fast. She knows the only way out is to come clean – but can she find the courage to confess, or will Ray’s hold over her keep her silent?
