Emmerdale spoilers for Monday November 10: Bear’s disappearance unravelled in tense standalone episode
Bear's plight laid bareEmmerdale’s next standalone episode uncovers exactly what has happened to Bear Wolf during his 100-day disappearance – and the truth is far closer to home than anyone in the village realises.
With Paddy only just beginning the search for his father, tonight’s instalment showed viewers what Bear has been living through while no one knew he was missing.

Where has Bear been?
Bear’s absence has been a growing concern, particularly after the relationship between him and Paddy deteriorated earlier this year.
Struggling with his mental health, Bear lashed out at his son repeatedly, and tensions reached breaking point after Celia Daniels’ dog attacked Paddy and Bear cruelly accused him of being weak.
The situation escalated until Paddy told Bear to leave, and Bear announced he would go to Ireland to stay with friends from his wrestling days.
However, Friday’s episode (November 7) revealed that Bear never arrived there. Paddy opened a parcel addressed to his dad and found a letter confirming Bear had not been in Ireland at all, prompting Paddy to realise no one had seen or heard from him for months.
For viewers, the mystery deepened further when the episode showed a glimpse of Bear in a dilapidated room, clearly traumatised.

Emmerdale spoilers for Monday November 10
Monday’s standalone episode expands on that moment. It explains that Bear has been held captive by Ray Walters for the entirety of his disappearance.
He is being kept in a rundown, locked room, with Anya – the stowaway who vanished from Caleb and Ruby’s home – imprisoned alongside him. Both are in a distressing state, and the episode will detail how they each ended up under Ray’s control.
The story raises major questions. How has Ray managed to keep them captive so close to the village without anyone realising? Why is Bear, once strong and determined, now so broken? And how far will this ordeal push him?
Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, recently described the upcoming episode as “harrowing” . But she emphasised its importance, noting that the storyline shines a light on dangerous exploitation.
As the episode unfolds, it becomes clear Bear’s situation is not something he can easily escape – and the longer he remains undiscovered, the more uncertain his future becomes.
