With no contact from his dad for months, Paddy begins to fear something is seriously wrong. Meanwhile, Chas becomes uneasy when she notices tension between Liam and Kev, unaware that Liam is struggling with a major secret he cannot share.
Elsewhere, Nicola finds herself thoroughly entertained by Kerry and Jai’s situation.
1. Paddy raises the alarm as Bear is confirmed missing
The episode begins with a parcel arriving for Bear. With no recent communication from him, Paddy decides to open it, only to uncover a worrying truth: Bear is not in Ireland with his wrestling friends as previously believed. In fact, no one seems to know where he is.
Shaken, Paddy begins making calls to anyone who might have heard from his father, but each attempt leaves him more concerned. Mandy initially tries to reassure him. But when Paddy points out that Bear would never have missed contacting Eve on her birthday, she agrees the situation is serious.
Realising he can no longer handle this alone, Paddy decides it is time to bring the police into the search. Whether authorities will be able to shed light on where Bear is – or what may have happened to him – remains to be seen.
2. Chas grows concerned over Liam and Kev in Emmerdale spoilers
Elsewhere, Chas is preoccupied after witnessing an unusual interaction between Liam and Kev. Although she does not yet know the full context, Chas immediately senses something is off and becomes concerned that more is happening behind the scenes.
3. Liam wrestles with doctor–patient confidentiality
Liam is still wrestling with the secret he discovered about Kev on Thursday night. Bound by medical confidentiality, he cannot reveal what he knows, but he is deeply troubled by the situation.
He wants Kev to tell the truth, but Kev is unwilling to discuss anything as he prepares to head to London for a honeymoon with Robert.
Meanwhile, Aaron is left to watch from the background as Robert and Kev set off for their romantic break. Standing on the sidelines is taking its toll – but Aaron keeps his feelings to himself.
4. Nicola delights in Kerry and Jai’s awkward situation in Emmerdale spoilers
Elsewhere, Kerry remains unsure what to do after her unexpected encounter with Jai. Nicola, however, is thoroughly enjoying the gossip.
She takes great pleasure in teasing Kerry about the situation, but it is clear Kerry may have stronger feelings for Jai than she intends to admit. Whether she will act on them is another question.
