Robron reunite in Emmerdale
The episode saw Robert and Aaron find their way back to each other after Victoria intervened.
Determined to stop Robert from recommitting to Kev, she showed Aaron the vows Robert had written for the ceremony – the exact same vows he once said to Aaron. Realising Robert’s love for him had not faded, Aaron confronted Robert, kissed him, and the pair ended up in bed together. Robert admitted he could not lose Aaron again and resolved to end things with Kev.
However, at the same moment, Kev was being rushed to hospital with chest pains. Liam found him struggling to breathe. Kev admitted he had stopped taking his medication in hopes of being able to perform on his wedding night. He insisted Liam keep this information confidential, but Liam nevertheless went to tell Robert where Kev was.
Kev eventually made it to the vow renewal. Aaron, who initially believed the ceremony should be stopped, suddenly changed his approach. He told Robert they could continue their relationship in secret while Robert stayed with Kev during what they assumed were his final months. With that understanding, Robert went through with the vow renewal.

Liam finds out the truth about Kev in Emmerdale
Later at the Woolpack, Liam began to piece things together. He reviewed Kev’s medical records and confronted him.
He confirmed that Kev does have heart disease, but it is entirely manageable and could allow him to live for decades – not months.
Kev demanded that Liam keep quiet, and due to doctor–patient confidentiality, Liam is legally bound not to reveal the truth. His discovery now leaves him in a difficult position. Should he tell Robert? And what consequences would that bring for everyone involved?
While viewers were pleased to see their suspicions about Kev’s lies confirmed, the element that generated the most response was the writing.
The episode’s writer, Isobel Cameron, received widespread praise from fans, who felt she captured Robert and Aaron’s dynamic exceptionally well.
