The King clan have found themselves homeless, and it’s all Jimmy’s fault. Disaster struck when the hapless dad accidentally flooded Victoria Cottage, which means the place is now inhabitable.
Nicola has been left with no other option but to move her family across the village to best mate Laurel’s house.
Laurel isn’t the sort of person who’d watch her friend struggle, so she agrees to let the Kings stay at hers. But as the rowdy rabble arrive with all their belongings, Laurel quickly regrets being so generous.
Suddenly Mulberry Cottage becomes the scene of utter mayhem as Jimmy and Nicola turn Laurel’s living room into a makeshift bedroom. How long will it be before the brood outstay their welcome?

As the chaos continues, Jimmy retreats to the peace and quiet of the pirate ship.
Meanwhile, young love is blossoming between Clemmie and Carl, but not everyone in their family is pleased about this.
Nicola is alarmed when she hears that Carl has wound up in a fight with Clemmie’s brother Lucas. The lad seems shaken by the ordeal and Nicola declares there’s no way she’s having any Tate nonsense around her children.
Dawn pops over with Lucas to try and resolve the situation calmly. But viewers know that hot-headed Nicola doesn’t do calm!

Events soon take a serious turn someone makes a call to the police.
Two female officers arrive at Home Farm to grill Dawn, Joe and Kim about earlier events. Meanwhile, Nicola and Jimmy receive a visit from a couple of male coppers. Nicola looks horrified by what they have to say to her.
Will the police’s presence ignite a full-blown war between the Kings and Tates? It wouldn’t be the first time these two iconic clans have done battle.
