F1 Miami Grand Prix: How to stream, start times and weather updates after 'cancellation fears'

Make sure you know when to tune in for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix

Formula 1 returns this weekend, over a month on from Kimi Antonelli’s Japan win, so make sure you know exactly what time and where to watch the Miami Grand Prix… and if it’s going to be cancelled.

As it stands, Antonelli sits atop the F1 2026 table. However, he’s less than 10 points clear of Mercedes’ George Russell, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc not far behind.

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, will be hoping for a return to form in Florida. He doesn’t have a strong track record in Miami, reaching a peak of sixth place in 2022.

So, will Hamilton regain some momentum with a record podium finish, or will Antonelli continue to dominate? It remains to be seen… if the Miami Grand Prix goes ahead, so let’s get into how to watch it, where to stream it online, and all of the start times you need to know.

Has the Miami Grand Prix been cancelled?

At the time of writing, the Miami Grand Prix is going ahead as planned.

According to the latest BBC weather forecast, there’s a chance of “thundery showers” and lightning on Sunday.

This has sparked fears that the event could be cancelled. And, to be fair, a lightning strike could have a substantial impact on the weekend’s F1 action.

“In the event of lightning threatening the race, all cars must return to the pit lane and stop in the fast lane with teams then informed via the official messaging system that cars must be pushed from the fast lane and returned to their garages where the doors must remain open until otherwise instructed,” the FIA said in a statement (via GP Fans).

So, keep your fingers crossed!
