Raza Siddiqui’s absence from Gogglebox revealed
So far this season, the Siddiqui family has been down a member, with Raza not appearing yet in any of the episodes.
However, there’s a good reason for his absence – he’s in hospital! As his family revealed on Instagram last night (Tuesday, February 17), Raza had a fall a few weeks back where he “cracked some ribs”.
In a post for their 137k followers, they shared a snap of Raza, in a hospital bed, giving a thumbs up to the camera. The star can be seen wearing a hospital gown with nasal cannulas.
Other photos show Raza with his family on the sofa, and enjoying some time with his nephew, Theodore.
“For you eagle-eyed Goggleboxers, you may have noticed that Raza (@razathefaint) hasn’t joined us on the sofa so far this season,” they captioned the post.
“Sadly, he had a bit of a fall, a few weeks back, and cracked some ribs,” they then revealed.

“He’s recovering nicely and will be joining us on the sofa in a few weeks time. He’s absolutely smashing his recovery, staying positive and keeping himself entertained with walks, telly, reading, and nephew cuddles with Theodore,” they wrote.
“I know you guys reaching out and sending your well wishes will put a bigger smile on his face than morphine ever could. Can’t wait for all four Siddiquis to be back on team @c4gogglebox with the rest of the fab families,” they then added.
