Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing viewers have realised where they’ve seen fiery redhead Tilly Martin before.

The bold new “social experiment,” fronted by Jonathan Ross, sees 18 polar opposites physically cuffed together as they compete for a £100,000 prize.

But while many contestants are fresh faces, one familiar face has sparked a wave of recognition online…

Participants were dropped on a remote uninhabited island with only basic tools and training. Left to film themselves, the group had to battle brutal living conditions, hunger and internal tensions.

Despite clashes and harsh environments, Tilly quickly became a fan favourite thanks to her work ethic and no-nonsense attitude.

She powered through gruelling challenges and later said she would happily do the experience all over again.

Handcuffed on Channel 4

Now back on screens a decade later, the North London barmaid and cleaner is paired with wealthy motor enthusiast Antony Kearsley on Handcuffed.

The pair must remain physically shackled together around the clock, even while sleeping, washing and using the toilet, unless they choose to unlock themselves and quit the competition.

Speaking about the toughest part of the experience, Tilly – who is viewers’ favourite to win the £100k prize – admitted sleep deprivation has been a struggle.

“Antony snores and we had some days where it was fine but some days it weren’t,” she said, as reported by the Daily Star. “I don’t cope very well when I’m not in my own bed.”

She added that the exhaustion quickly became overwhelming, as being tired made everything harder the following day.

Reflecting on the challenge of being paired with someone so different from herself, Tilly said: “You are going to have somebody that’s completely opposite from you. You’ve got to minimise that confrontation so much that they don’t leave.”

Meanwhile, viewers are clearly rooting for Tilly.

“Love Tilly. My kind of gal,” one fan posted. Another gushed: “Tilly is a legend!”
