Handcuffed star Sir Benjamin Slade’s TV past revealed
Sir Ben is no stranger to a TV crew. He’s made numerous TV appearances previous to Handcuffed.
He first appeared on Sky Atlantic in 2012, on a series called The Guest Wing. It featured owners of country houses and Sir Ben, as the 7th Baronet and proud owner of Maunsel House in Somerset.
In April 2017, he was interviewed by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on This Morning. He told the of his desire for an heir and a search for a wife to provide one. He also spoke to Ben Shephard on GMB.

January 2020 saw that mission televised in Channel 5’s Millionaire Age Gap Love.
On the show, he told the cameras: “I want children. I don’t want to work forever. It would be nice to pass on the responsibility to some children as soon as possible. I don’t think I am too old to have children, because I have nine months of supply frozen at the sperm bank.”

In the series, he tried his hand at online dating, insisting he only wanted to meet a woman aged under 40.
But before that series could air, he was visited by the bailiffs on the BBC’s The Sheriffs Are Coming after failing to pay £4,700 to a wedding planner. Although he didn’t appear on the series, he was named, and Maunsel House was featured.
