First Dates is heading back to our screens and Fred Sirieix is on the hunt for singletons – but how do you apply?
Fred and his co-stars a throwing open the doors to the First Dates restaurant for a brand new series of wine, dinners and matchmaking.
The French maître d’hôtel is also on a mission, as he wants to help co-star CiCi Coleman find a boyfriend.
So how can you apply? Here’s what you need to know.
Fred Sirieix urges fans to apply for a date with Cici Coleman
Fred urged potential suitors to get in touch in an instagram reel posted over the weekend.
Dressed in a baby pink suit and white shirt, the presenter addressed the camera while CiCi stood beside him smiling.
“Right CiCi, it’s time to sort your love life out!” he joked. “This is a shout-out to all you guys who have been dreaming of dating CiCi.”
Fred then turned to his co-star and added, “Believe me. I’ve had so many direct messages.”
“When Fred says all it means like 10 out of 10,” Cici chimed in with a laugh. “Let’s just clarify that. Not all men, just 10 out of 10 men.”
Fred then encouraged potential suitors to officially apply to appear on the show.
“If you want a date with CiCi you need to apply,” he said. “In a few days’ time you could be here in the First Dates restaurant having a date with the beautiful CiCi.”
He finished the clip by wrapping an arm around her and urging viewers to “join the queue and apply now.”

How to apply for First Dates?
So, are you ready to find love?
As the hit show celebrates more than a decade on air, the famous restaurant is opening its doors for hopeful daters to take part in a blind date arranged by the show’s matchmaking experts.
Those hoping to take part must complete an online questionnaire via the Twenty Twenty website. Twenty Twenty is the production company behind First Dates as well as other popular programmes, including Love Con Revenge on Netflix.
Applicants will be asked to provide basic details such as their name, age and gender, as well as information about their hobbies, daily life, job and relationship history. There’s even a section to share any funny past dating stories.
Prospective contestants must also upload photos of themselves and answer questions about what they are looking for in a partner, including revealing their celebrity crush.
How old do you have to be?
To apply, participants must be 18 or over. They must also agreee to the show’s terms and conditions, and confirm they are providing truthful information as part of the application process.
First Dates 2026: When does it start?
Since launching in 2013, First Dates has become one of Channel 4’s most popular reality shows. The series sees single people paired up for blind dates in a restaurant setting.
Fred has been the show’s charismatic host throughout its run, greeting hopeful romantics and helping calm their nerves before the dates begin.
Meanwhile, CiCi Coleman is one of the familiar faces serving guests in the restaurant.
An official release date for the next series has not yet been confirmed.
The most recent season was a spin-off titled First Dates Beach Club. It aired in December and saw singles searching for love at a beach club in Spain.
