I'm A Celeb bosses introduce rule to have stars 'fight more' in 'toughest' camp yet
The new series starts this weekend!I’m A Celebrity bosses are shaking things up for 2025 – and it sounds like this could be the show’s most punishing series yet.
The hit ITV juggernaut is back on Sunday (November 16) with a fresh line-up, including Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp and Lisa Riley, all gearing up for life in the Aussie jungle.
But they shouldn’t bank on easing themselves in. Producers have brought in a raft of new rules and tougher conditions to stop campmates getting too cosy. One insider has hinted the aim is to make them “fight more” and avoid anyone coasting through the experience.

I’m A Celeb 2025 ‘to be toughest series yet’
Earlier this week, ITV confirmed a major rule shake-up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
Producers have introduced the new ‘two in a row and then you go’ rule for Bushtucker Trials, meaning celebrities can now only be voted to take part twice consecutively before the vote automatically switches to someone else.
But there are more changes to come on the beloved ITV show…
Speaking to MailOnline, I’m A Celeb executive producer, Olly Nash revealed: “It’s a tough and gruelling show, and there’s nothing wrong with driving that home. We need to see more celebrities earning their keep, that’s the most important thing.”

2025 cast will have to ‘fight more and earn more’
Olly then went on to note more celebs are taking part in the trials than ever before as “it’s more of a competition”.
They added: “Last year, we had a great positive happy cast that all joined together and had a happy time. This year they are going to have to fight more, earn more and play a bigger part in camp.
“No longer can they be just sitting on the beds in the back, they are going to have to step up to the challenge and face the music. And there are a few celebrities in this year’s camp that are sure to get niggled if they’re hangry or sleep deprived.”
Bosses scrap luxury items
The shake-up doesn’t stop there. According to reports, I’m A Celeb has also ditched the much-loved luxury item tradition – the bit where friends and family send campmates a tiny slice of home, whether that’s a favourite pillow or a cherished photo.
Producers have pulled the plug on it altogether to keep this year’s line-up “on their toes”. Now, the only way celebs can get a framed picture of someone special is by winning it in a challenge – adding yet another layer of pressure to jungle life.
And there’s a brand new twist too: the Getaway Car.
In the launch episode, the first 10 stars are split into two groups. The top two from each group then go head-to-head in a challenge, with a prized seat in the Getaway Car up for grabs. Those who manage to nab a spot get whisked straight off to main camp – while the rest are left to face whatever the jungle throws at them next.
