I'm A Celebrity 2025: Shona McGarty's sister 'approves' jungle romance with Aitch and even invites him for Christmas
Aitch and Shona McGarty have sparked romance rumours in the jungle
I’m A Celebrity fans have spotted a budding romance between Aitch and Shona McGarty – and, thankfully, her sister Camilla already approves.
Aitch has been one of the top contestants since I’m A Celebrity 2025 began. He’s friendly with everyone in camp, whether it’s his longtime ‘best friend’ Angry Ginge or US comedy legend Ruby Wax.
Fans have been particularly interested in his relationship with Shona McGarty. Last week, he admitted to having “a bit of a soft spot” for the EastEnders star, and Ginge mentioned that she’s his favourite campmate.
Is love in the air? Viewers certainly hope so – but McGarty’s sister Camilla thinks they may just be friends.

Shona McGarty’s sister weighs in on I’m A Celeb romance with Aitch
Amid the speculation around Aitch and McGarty, Camilla spoke to The Sun after arriving in Australia to support her sister.
“He’s a nice guy,” she said, even adding: “I’d definitely have him round for Christmas!”

However, in Camilla’s eyes, the pair may not have a romantic connection.
“I don’t know if I see it romantically – it might be like a brother-sister relationship,” she explained. “But I don’t think we’ve seen enough to make a definite decision on it.”
This is no small endorsement, given how close McGarty clearly is with her family (she has a tattoo dedicated to her sister).

Are Aitch and Shona McGarty single?
It’s believed both celebs are currently single, too. McGarty had been engaged to Irish musician David Bracken, but they reportedly split on “amicable terms”.
“There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends,” a source previously told The Sun.
David even wished Shona luck as she entered the jungle, writing on Instagram: “Let’s go girl! You got this.” They are both yet to publicly confirm if they have split or not.
As for Aitch, it had been reported that the rapper was in a ‘secret’ relationship with Lois Cottam, a psychology student from Cheshire.
However, according to The Mirror, they “decided they are better off as friends” just weeks before the show started.
“They enjoyed the time they spent together. Things ended amicably between them,” a source added.
However, McGarty and Aitch may have more on their minds than a potential romance. This week, she’s already been caught with contraband; specifically, air freshener she somehow snuck into camp.
Aitch has also sparked concerns over a mysterious red lump on his neck, with viewers urging producers to check if it’s a bug bite or anything more serious.
