I’m A Celebrity viewers 'disappointed' with Harry Redknapp and Craig Charles over their treatment of Adam Thomas
And viewers think they know why the men acted like they did…
I’m A Celebrity South Africa star Adam Thomas was given a reprieve by his campmates last night (April 21), after his elimination row with Jimmy Bullard.
However, viewers reckon not everyone was on board with Adam returning…
Adam Thomas ‘eliminated’ from I’m A Celebrity South Africa
The actor was briefly eliminated from camp after trial partner Jimmy shouted “I’m a celebrity – get me out of here!” during the first pairs trial.
But, because Jimmy didn’t even try in the trial and Adam was working hard, hosts Ant and Dec asked the rest of the campmates if it was fair that Adam was eliminated along with Jimmy.
They decided – Ant and Dec said unanimously – to welcome the ex-Emmerdale star back into camp. However, many viewers clocked behaviour from Harry Redknapp and Craig Charles that they said suggested they felt otherwise…
‘I know he’s upset, but…’
Before Ant and Dec welcomed Adam back into the trial clearing, they asked each of the campmates if they were happy for Adam to remain in the all-stars series. Sinitta, Ashley, Mo and Scarlett said they were, Craig and Harry appeared indifferent.
Harry told the hosts of Adam: “I thought his behaviour was not great, but you know. I know he’s upset, but yeah.”
Welcoming Adam back, Ant and Dec said all the campmates wanted him back. But, as Craig, Ashley, Scarlett and Sinitta hugged a crying Adam, Harry and Mo stood back.

Later, back in the clearing, Craig let Adam know that he wasn’t entirely on board with his behaviour during the explosive row with Jimmy. Harry, too, shocked viewers by sticking up for his old footballing pal Jimmy Bullard.
Viewers react
Fans of the show performed quite the U-turn on Harry last night, with one declaring: “I’ve always loved Harry Redknapp but didn’t like him just them. Adam had every right to have a go at Jimmy.”
“Bloody hell now Harry and Craig with the sly little digs towards Adam. Give the man a break!” said a second. “How do Harry and Craig have a problem with Adam’s reaction but not with David’s persistent bullying?” asked a third.
“Harry is being a little bit sanctimonious re: Adam tbh. I think he had a human reaction and Harry needs to stop acting like he’s the actual King,” said another. “Harry and Craig clutching their pearls because Adam started swearing pleeeeease,” said another.
“It really disappointed me that Craig sat on the fence and said ‘I’m easy’ about whether he wanted Adam to stay in the jungle. Harry wasn’t nice either and clearly wanted him out just because he knows Jimmy. Jimmy was calculated and cruel doing what he did,” suggested another.
Mo also blasted
Sir Mo Farah was also called out on social media: “Mo and Harry never went to Adam to see if he’s okay just stood there while all of rest of campmates went to him and Jimmy was bang out of order what he put Adam through.”
“After their conduct on the show tonight, there is no way people will be voting for either Harry or Craig!” another predicted.

Meanwhile, another commented: “Harry Redknapp didn’t want Adam to come back but Craig Charles never said anything, he said he was neutral. He didn’t want Adam to stay either.”
They then suggested why the men may not have wanted him back, saying: “Both scared of Adam’s popularity.” “None of the campmates wanted #Adam to stay they see competition,” another agreed.
“Lowkey I think some are annoyed because they see Adam as a threat to their win…,” a third agreed.
