I'm A Celebrity fans demand Bushtucker Trial change: 'Put the money here please'
I'm A Celebrity 2025 has been big on eating trials and simpler challenges
I’m A Celebrity fans have taken to social media to complain about this year’s “cheap” and “easy” Bushtucker Trials.
Last night (November 23), Angry Ginge was forced to put his head into several plastic boxes and use his mouth to unscrew and yank stars for the camp.
Other celebs have rummaged through fish guts, submerged themselves in water tanks, and eaten disgusting food like vomit fruit.
According to some viewers, it appears to have less funding than in previous years. For example, the Wales series tasked its contestants with abseiling down a cliff. High-wire challenges were also once a mainstay of the show.

I’m A Celebrity Bushtucker trials are too “easy” and “cheap”, fans say
I’m A Celebrity viewers have been discussing this year’s Bushtucker Trials on X. Not only have they pointed out how easy they’ve been so far, but also how inexpensive they appear to be.
“Where the [bleep] have these sort of trials gone… sack off #imaceleb unpacked and put the money here please,” one user wrote, with others criticising the late timing of the after-show.
“I was thinking the same thing… all bugs no physical trials,” another wrote, and a third commented: “The trials don’t even feel as significant or even interesting. The camp convos/dynamics are the only thing I’m enjoying.”
The main criticism is the absence of spectacle-driven trials thus far.
Just two years ago, Jamie Lynn Spears had to climb a huge metal structure suspended in the air. In 2022, Matt Hancock searched for stars in a large, custom-made pool.
“Feels like a real budget cut this year, all the AI art usage doesn’t help it feel like a quality production either. Loving the contestants though, but let down by the production quality and cheap/basic sets/trials,” another viewer wrote on X.

I’m A Celebrity fans say the trials are “too repetitive”
Fans have echoed these complaints on Reddit, criticising the trials for being “repetitive” and “easy”, especially with how many stars are being won in each trial.
“I want to see these celebrities work for these stars through Insanely difficult challenges, not be easily handed to them through some of the easiest challenges I’ve seen on I’m a Celebrity,” one user commented.
“I was not happy they did the eating challenge on day one! That’s like the best and worst challenge. I said to my hubby that surely getting that one done so quickly means we are in for some crazy trials… I was wrong,” another posted.
Tonight (November 24), rapper Aitch will take part in his third Bushtucker Trial. It appears it will involve him lying on a bed as he’s covered in creepy crawlies. So, it could spark similar complaints.
