Industry season 4: What time episode 1 is out and how to watch the new series
It could be a late night if you want to watch Industry season 4 live
Industry season 4 is almost here, and the stakes in the BBC’s snappy financial drama have never been higher – so make sure you know what time the first episode is out and how to watch it.
Early in its run, Industry was a victim of circumstance. It’s a fast-talking, scathing, and hyper-smart show about money-hungry people – and Succession had already cornered the market.
However, not only does it stand apart from its HBO contemporary, but the third season proved to be its best (and most singular) effort yet.
So, if you’re ready to see what comes next for Yasmin (Marisa Abela) and Harper (Myha’la), don’t miss Episode 1.

Industry season 4 episode 1 release date and time
The first episode of Industry season 4 will premiere on Monday, January 12, at 10:40pm on BBC One.
That’s quite a late ask for viewers on a weeknight, especially considering shows like The Traitors and The Night Manager air over an hour earlier.
Fear not, because you’ll be able to stream it on BBC iPlayer, so you can catch up the next day.
Those in the US with an HBO Max subscription can watch the first episode at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Sunday, January 11.
Will all of Industry season 4 drop on BBC iPlayer at once?
Industry season 4 won’t be released as a complete box set on BBC iPlayer. You’ll need to watch it weekly.
Why? Well, there are two reasons. Firstly, as we’re seeing with The Traitors schedule, airing shows weekly preserves the magic; everyone waiting to tune in and following the chaos (and aftermath) together.
Secondly, Industry doesn’t exclusively belong to the BBC: it’s airing on HBO in North America.
Think about it. If the whole thing dropped on iPlayer, people in the US could use a VPN and easily watch the series for free.
While unconfirmed, there is a chance that new episodes arrive on iPlayer ahead of their airtime on BBC One. The equivalent usually happens when HBO shows come to Sky, so keep your eyes peeled on Monday.

What happened at the end of Industry season 3?
The finale of Industry season 3 closed the book on Pierpoint. The bank was sold to Abu Dhabi-backed Al-Miraj and its London operation was effectively dismantled.
Unfortunately for Eric, he got sacked, while Harper jetted off to New York to set up a bold new scheme for Otto Mostyn.
Meanwhile, Yasmin not only ditched Robert, but married Henry Muck. Rishi left the bank before he could be pushed, but things still didn’t go his way.
He didn’t get a job at Leviathan Alpha. If that wasn’t bad enough, his wife was murdered by his debt collectors. Yikes!
The fourth season will pick up with Yasmin and Harper drawn into a “globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene”.
“As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top,” the synopsis teases.
