Jill Halfpenny and her amazing technicoloured coats as Lucy Logan in Number One Fan: Where can you buy them?
There's one in particular we'd die for!
Jill Halfpenny stars as popular TV presenter Lucy Logan in Number One Fan and, while the thriller is a wild ride, it might be her collection of coats that impress fashion fans.
The actress’ alter-ego wears not one, not two, and not three coats during the four-part drama. She wears dozens of different ones throughout the series – honestly, we lost count!
And did anyone else notice that they started loud, and technicoloured, before becoming more muted and disguisable? Perhaps a reflection of what was going on her private life…
Here’s a rundown of all the coats Jill Halfpenny’s character Lucy Logan wore in Number One Fan, and where you can by them.

Jill Halfpenny’s character Lucy wore this stunning coat in Number One Fan
The first, and we’d argue the best, of Lucy Logan’s amazing technicoloured coats was this beauty from Zara. A Jacquard Knit Coat with vibrant shades of black, yellow, beige, and blue. You could basically wear it with anything. We also love the lapel collar detail, which gives the piece an extra polished flair. Obviously not for the wallflowers, it would certainly be the focal point of your winter wardrobe. It cost around $149 (£100) at the time.
Frankly, we’re devastated that it’s too late to snap this up for next winter. Sadly, the Channel 5 thriller was filmed last year, so many of the winter coats are now out of stock as they are last season. However, there are a few used selling on eBay.

Desigual Between-Seasons Tartan Coat in red
Lucy Logan also wears a vibrant plaid wool blend coat in red, pink, and black. The tartan brushed wool coat is actually from Desigual. It cost about £140 last year but, understandably, went out of stock pretty damn fast.

Although it is no longer available, we’ve found this Chicwish equivalent, which is very similar and cheaper than the original!
Reader might notice that many of Jill Halfpenny’s coats in Number One Fan are from Spanish shops like Zara, Mango, and Desigual. This is for an obvious reason – cast and crew filmed in Spain!

Where can I buy Donna Hughes’ iconic checked coat?
In episode 1 of Number One Fan, Lucy Logan gifts Donna Hughes a “designer coat”. And there’s good news at last, as THIS stand-out item is still available to buy. If you have 200 euros lying around (about £170) that is.
It’s a contrast black and red check blazer with leopard print lapels and cuffs from Barcelonan designer Lola Casademunt. The tartan and animal print statement piece is fitted, with an embroidered logo on the chest and gold metallic button closure. It’s described as a “sophisticated design that seamlessly combines elegance and modernity”.
Shein do a much cheaper equivalent here.

Number One Fan on Channel 5: Where is Jill Halfpenny’s yellow coat from?
Next in Jill Halfpenny’s huge wardrobe as Lucy Logan, is this yellow lapels bouclé coat. From Mango, the yellow textured wool-blend coat is similar in style to vintage 1950s or early 1960s designs. It’s characterised by its textured, “bumpy” bouclé fabric, large lapels, and relaxed fit.
If you’re not smitten with the yellow colour, then this oatmeal version might be for you. If it’s the colour you’re after, you might like Topshop’s ovoid sleeve double breasted longline formal coat in buttermilk.

Jill Halfpenny’s coats as Lucy Logan in Number One Fan
Ditching the bold colours, Lucy Logan is later seen wearing a dark grey, buttoned knee-length coat. A much more practical option. This one is also from Zara.
The cotton and wool mix coat features a grey and white flecked herringbone design. Again, this is out of stock, although there are several of the coats currently selling on Ebay.co.uk.
We really like this Gant dark brown herringbone wool blend overcoat, but it’s seriously pricey at £525! A cheaper version can be found in Albaray or Chic & Stil.

Where is the brown raincoat from?
Later in the series, Number One Fan viewers will spot Lucy Logan in yet another coat, this time a brown trench coat.
While JJXX do a faux suede trench coat in brown for £90, a more practical version is Love & Roses’ £99 chocolate brown hooded and quilted trench coat.
Although we rather like this cropped version from Friends Like These, which will set you back £59.

Suede red blazer coat
Finally, Jill Halfpenny wears a blood-red blazer coat in Number One Fan. Perhaps the colour reflects her mood – as she arguably has blood in her hands.
Like the brown trench coat, it’s suede. Well, it’s all very well if you’re filming in Spain. Rainy England not so much! Although Lucy Logan’s version was from Zara, yo can buy an equivalent in Joe Browns. We actually prefer this Joe Browns stitch detail velvet jacket in burnt orange. And it’s a steal at £80.
