Katie Price's documentary: All the random celebrity guests who attended Katie and Peter Andre's wedding

What a strange line-up!

Katie Price and Peter Andre’s extremely lavish £1million wedding features in her brand new Sky documentary – and these are the celebrities who attended.

The couple tied the knot at Highclere Castle – the home of Downton Abbey – in 2005 and it was mega.

Viewers of Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which has just landed on Sky and NOW, will be reminded of just how wild their nuptials were.

Katie arrived inside a ‘Barbie’ coach pulled by horses, and wore a sparkling pink ‘meringue’ dress with a 1ft high tiara. Pete even had hair extensions for their Big Day.

But in the new documentary, Katie’s family recall how there was a list of random celebrities at the wedding. Her sister Sophie even claims they were told to sit behind the media.

Here’s all the famous faces that were at the wedding – and they really are a random bunch!

Katie Price’s family recall hers and Peter Andre’s wedding

Katie’s family don’t hold back when discussing Katie and Peter’s wedding in Katie Price: Nothing To Hide.

Her stepdad Paul Price explains how it was a ‘celebrity magazine wedding’. This means the guest list was packed with famous faces in order to fill the mag’s glossy pages.

“Because it’s an OK! thing, you’ve got to have certain people there to look like they’re friends. Which they really weren’t,” he admits.

Katie’s mum Amy adds: “It was a bit of a farce to be honest. I thought it was. I couldn’t take it seriously. It was all celebrity driven. It wasn’t what I’d call a proper wedding.”

And her sister Sophie recalls: “I remember mum thinking, ‘Well, where are we going to sit? Because I think the front seats had been taken for media.”

Which celebrities were at Katie and Peter’s wedding?

The first random celebrity guest to appear was veteran broadcaster Jennie Bond. The former BBC Royal Correspondent was in I’m A Celebrity in 2004 with Katie and Peter… so was invited.

Paul Gascoigne – aka Gazza – is also there. The ex footballer tells the wedding crew in throwback footage: “Yeah, I met Katie years ago. Really nice woman, really nice. I’m really happy and really pleased for her.”

The full guest list was never released but, from what we can make out, all these famous faces were there:

  • Jennie Bond
  • Paul Gascoigne
  • Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton- bridesmaid
  • Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona – bridesmaid
  • The now late Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding – bridesmaid(!)
  • Eastenders actor Dean Gaffney
  • TV and radio broadcaster Vanessa Feltz
  • Welsh singer Charlotte Church
  • Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison
  • Wayne and Coleen Rooney

Thanks but no thanks

Not everyone wanted an invite, however. Reports at the time claimed several celebrities subbed Katie and Peter’s wedding.

According to The Mirror, TV star Denise Van Outen refused her invite as “they had only met for five minutes” previously. The publication also claimed Friends star David Schwimmer, David and Victoria Beckhams, Davina McCall and Simon Cowell also gave it a miss.

We gladly would have accepted an invite, though, just for the LOLs!
