Katie Price‘s first boyfriend Gary Bolingbroke gives his take on their romance in her new Sky documentary – and no love is lost between them.

The 48-year-old star explains in Katie Price: Nothing To Hide that she fell for the “boy about town” during a night out in Brighton.

Gary also appears in the documentary and remembers stepping in to ‘save’ Katie.

The electrician claims he fought off a group of men who were giving her unwanted attention.

Katie and Gary’s relationship eventually ended when she was linked in the newspapers to professional footballer Teddy Sheringham.

Recalling that time, Katie says Gary dumping her “did her a favour”.

But although Gary only appears to say positive things about his ex in the doc, it hasn’t always been this way.

In a previous interview, Gary – who played football semi-professionally – made one very wild claim indeed…

Katie and Gary dated each other in the late 90s. Katie’s modelling career was taking off as she was quickly becoming known more for her alter-ego Jordan.

She was appearing in Page 3 and went from being “Boly’s girl” to a name in her own right. Gary, meanwhile, was suddenly referred to as “Jordan’s boyfriend”.

Gary appears to remember his time with Katie fondly in the documentary. But he wasn’t so kind in a resurfaced interview from 2012.

Speaking to The Mirror, Gary described Katie has a “hurricane”. He claimed she left a “trail of devastation” when they split.

The once semi-professional footballer even made a wild claim about Katie and his mum. He told the publication that Katie had tricked his mother into watching her on an adult TV channel.

Gary said at the time: “We were at my mum’s house and my brother and his girlfriend were there, too.

“Katie was excited because she said she was going to be on TV. It was her first TV appearance and it was coming up at 11pm that night, she said.

“What she didn’t mention was it was on an adult TV channel. Before I knew it, she’d switched over and there she was on the screen doing a full-on strip for the camera. My mum sat there with eyes like saucers.”

Not awkward at all.

Meanwhile, Gary isn’t the only ex to speak out in Katie Price: Nothing To Hide. Another Level star Dane Bowers also lifts the lid on their public romance in the first episode.

Juicy stuff!
