Heading into the finale, Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) has been sacked by Cami (Demi Moore). Cooper (Jacob Lofland) also may have gotten himself into hot water after defending Ariana (Paulina Chavez).

What happened in episode 9?
The biggest shock in Landman season 2 episode 9 was Cami firing Tommy.
At this point, Cami owns M-Tex. Now, as she told Tommy, she “understands what drove [Monty]… there’s a rush, an exhilaration to risk”.
However, with Monty out of the picture, what use does she have for Tommy? “I’m saying you’re fired,” she told him. Yikes!
Elsewhere, a drunk patron tried to sexually assault Ariana in a back alley. Thankfully, Cooper arrives just in time and saves her, but he goes further than that.
Despite Ariana’s cries, he doesn’t stop hitting him. “Damn right I’m killing him,” he says.
In the end, he doesn’t die, but will Coop be prosecuted for going too far? Well, we’ll need to tune in for episode 10 to find out.
Will there be a Landman season 3?
Good news: Landman season 3 has officially been green-lit!
That said, if you’re looking for any other details… we don’t have any. We’d love to say Billy Bob Thornton is coming back, but after episode 9, it’s unclear if he’ll even make it through the finale.
If nothing else, Sheridan will almost certainly return as an executive producer.
