Love Is Blind's Alex Henderson finally called out for his 'lies and red flags' by Ashley Carpenter in show's most dramatic wedding yet
For once, Alex is speechlessLove Is Blind‘s Alex Henderson finally gets him comeuppance at the alter with Ashley Carpenter in the most dramatic wedding yet.
Alex has been under the microscope with both his fiancée Ashley and Netflix viewers over the past few weeks.
There has been multiple question marks hanging over his head from his childhood, career and soccer (football to us Brits) success.
Until Chris Fusco swooped in with Pilates-gate, Alex was even shaping up to be the villain of the series.
But in a relief to Love Is Blind fans everywhere, Ashley has seen sense and “paid attention” to his red flags.
And in a move that will leave viewers punching the air, the bride-to-be calls him out on all of it at their wedding.

Love Is Blind 2026: Do Alex and Ashley get married?
The latest episode drop of Love Is Blind is the big one; the weddings. The last episode ended on a cliffhanger with Emma Betsinger poised to see if Mike Gibney will say “I do”.

But while we do get answers as to whether all or any of the nuptials go ahead, it is Alex and Ashley’s wedding that will really make viewers’ mouths hit the floor.
Before the ceremony begins, things are looking likely that they will both agree that love really is blind.
Alex tells his guy mates: “We align on everything from politics to sense of humour. She’s a phenomenal woman.”
Ashley, who looks stunning in her wedding dress, also tearfully says: “There’s been many conversations about how I’m not Alex’s type. So I hope when he sees me today, he realises how wrong he is.”
Alex definitely appears to do this when he clocks his bride for the first time. Standing at the alter, he tells her: “Ashley, from the moment we stepped in the pods together, I knew that you were very, very special.
“Whether it’s riding horseback in Mexico or playing golf together, it’s been incredible to get to know you.”
Ashley says to him that their journey has been a “crazy rollercoaster”. She adds: “You became my best friend and I fell in love with you.”
Then comes the big moment. Alex is asked if he agrees to take Ashley to be his wife but, before he can reply, she drops a huge bomb.
Ashley says ‘I don’t’ to Alex
Ashley tells Alex: “I know your answer and it doesn’t matter to me. I know you don’t choose me and I’m not choosing you either.”
With her dad smirking from the congregation, she continues: “When we were in the pods, all our stories and future plans aligned perfectly. However, once we left, there was no effort.
“There was no intimacy, there were no questions you had for me. I felt like as soon as we moved into the apartment, we were roommates.
“Something always felt off. Your stories were so vivd, they were so detailed. You would say a lot of words but somehow I would just find myself more confused.
“Lying is a non-negotiable for me. And I’m sure it is for you as well. I lead my life with integrity. I expect my husband to do the same.
“Unfortunately I do feel like you have missed that mark.”
And then comes the hammer blow. Ashley goes on: “I used to ignore red flags. I accepted dishonesty and I spent far too much time waiting for a man to love me that was not my person.”
She tells Alex she would have agreed to marry him a year ago, adding: “I would have ignored all of the red flags, all of the lies. I’d have probably thought, ‘I can change him’ or ‘give it more time’.
“I know I deserve something extraordinary, I deserve so much better. I’m so sorry but it’s a no from me today.”
‘It’s a win’
Alex is clearly fuming, although he tells Ashley he “respects” what she says. But he adds: “I do disagree with the integrity.”
He accuses her of trying to “catch” him out when she previously asked about his past.
With Ashley’s dad rolling his eyes, he adds: “I personally don’t feel I’ve missed the mark on integrity.”
But Ashley is having none of it. To the shock of the congregation, including Alex’s mum Kristin, she bluntly tells him: “Saying no to you is a win.”
And with that Ashley turns around, grabs her dad’s arm and stalks off, with her veil flowing behind her.
And Alex? For once, he actually is speechless. LOL.
