MAFS Australia 2026: Brook's ex revealed as she confirms she's pregnant with his baby
Chris has reacted to the news...MAFS Australia 2026 may still be airing on TV, but the cast have well and truly moved on with their lives as Brook Crompton has revealed she is pregnant and engaged to her ex, Harry.
Brook was matched with Chris, who didn’t quite believe in the experiment before joining. However, it seemed he was pretty happy with his partnering with Brook.
But while things went well at the start, Brook discovered what Chris had said in his audition tape about women and things immediately got tense between them. It was also revealed that Brook had slept with her ex-boyfriend prior to the show – and was in contact with him during filming.
Now, MAFS Australia bride Brook has confirmed she is pregnant and engaged. But not to Chris.

Reports first surfaced that Brook may have been pregnant last month. And she later did a sit-down interview with her fiancé confirming the news.
But now, in an adorable new update, she has posted to Instagram, sharing a glimpse at the proposal, and the baby scan.
She penned: “Baby boy on the way, and a forever with you. To our little boy, you have already filled our world with so much hope and love. The past year, and especially these last few months, have taught me more than I ever imagined about patience, love and the person I want to be. I’ve dreamed of being a mother for as long as I can remember. And sharing this journey with the person I love most makes it even more special.”
She then penned a direct message to her fiancé, Harry. Brook wrote: “Harry, you are my rock, my safe place and my heart. Thank you for making my dreams come true and for showing me what family truly feels like. I can’t wait to watch you become the father I know you will be.”

The caption concluded with Brook telling her son that he has “changed our world in the most incredible way”.
Brook’s comments have been switched off on social media due to the negative reaction to her on the show. However, fellow bride, Mel, has liked the post.
Has Chris said anything about Brook’s pregnancy?
The Instagram post wasn’t the first time Brook has spoken about her pregnancy. Earlier this year, her and Harry did an interview with Woman’s Day.
Brook told them: “Everything has fallen into place. This is everything I ever wanted – to have a partner who supports me and loves me for me.
The couple confirmed they reconciled two weeks after Brook left the show, with Harry admitting he “came crawling back” to her. Reports also suggested he sent her flowers while she was filming MAFS with Chris.
Despite saying on the show that all of her exes have cheated on her, Brook explained that wasn’t the case with Harry. Instead, the pair went their separate ways because of “communication” issues.
Speaking about how Harry differs from Chris, Brook explained: “He would never fat-shame a woman or speak about anyone badly. He sees the beauty in everyone. I had actually never been with someone that speaks about women that poorly. So, right from the start, I was like ‘This person is not for me’. It felt I had been paired with that person for ratings.”
Since the interview came out, Brook’s MAFS husband, Chris, has actually reacted to the news. He posted a TikTok of the cover of the magazine, and a video of him scratching his head, looking around and shrugging. While he didn’t say anything, his feelings were made entirely clear.
