MAFS Australia 2026: Who are the experts?
The MAFS Australia expert panel for 2026 is made up of the same familiar faces.
This series will see John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla make their return as they oversee the entire process of matchmaking and trying to guide the couples through the highs and lows of the experiment.
However, this series will sadly mark Mel’s final one on MAFS Australia, as she is stepping down to focus on her family and health. She will, however, continue to participate on the UK version.

What can you expect from Married At First Sight Australia 2026?
It’s believed that the 2026 series of MAFS Australia is gearing up to be the most explosive yet. And reports suggest it is quite “volatile”.
The show has been airing Down Under since the beginning of February and the Daily Mail Australia even reported: “If you thought last season was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
Since it began playing out on TV in Oz, there has already been some very public fall-outs. And one bride even spoiled the ending of her own storyline. Brook Crompton revealed she is now pregnant and engaged to her ex.
And that’s not all. Some Aussie fans have been left so shocked by what plays out on TV that one bride has had to come out and apologise for “bullying” others on the show. Eek.
How many episodes are there?
While the exact final date has not been announced yet, based off last year, MAFS 2026 Australia could have up to 40 episodes.
Last year, there were 39 proper episodes, then the 40th ep marked the highly-anticipated reunion.
So, if it follows the same structure, we could expect it to go on until mid-May.
What time is MAFS Australia on tonight?
The brand new series of Married At First Sight kicks off tonight – Monday March 9, 2026. The first episode airs at 7.30pm on E4. It will also be available on Channel 4’s streaming service.

In the first episode, we will get to meet all of this year’s brides and grooms at their Hen and Bucks nights. There are some really feisty characters, so keep your eyes peeled.
One bride – Gia Fleur – appears pretty intent on ruffling a few feathers…
Two grooms and two brides will then be seen heading off for their wedding days. Matched by the experts, they will each meet their new spouse at the alter for the first time.
Expect a stand-off between one couple and an incredibly awkward first kiss. You might want to look away for that one. Bleh.
